I arrived Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. to pick up my dry cleaning to find the doors locked, even though the "open" sign was on. I waited in the parking lot for over 30 minutes, called repeatedly, and never reached anyone. I returned a little after 2:00 p.m. and the doors were still locked. I even knocked around back with no response. I continued calling for the next hour with the same result. When I came back Thursday, I was told by the owner's wife she had to leave and he was running late. I understand things happen, but a simple note on the door with a return time would have prevented a lot of frustration. I needed my dry cleaning early Thursday morning, so the lack of communication really created a problem. They recently purchased this business, and I genuinely wish them the best, but clearer communication with customers is essential.

First of all, I was impressed by the quick turnaround on dry cleaning all the items. Also, the quality of dry cleaning was phenomenal. My daughter's satin dress was full of stains and they got everyone out! Then when I went to pick up my clothes the lady mentioned that she found money, $100 in the suit pocket. She gave back the $100 and when I tried to give her a $20 tip for her honesty, she refused to take it. I told her that she has my word that I will back for all my dry cleaning. I swung by one day to have some…read moreshirts and a suit dry cleaned so I could take it somewhere and have them do some alterations -- Lyssa was kind enough to let me know that they could directly perform the alterations there and save me some time! I'm glad I went that route, because the team at Beach Dry Cleaners were able to do additional alterations that the other place wouldn't have been able to do, and my suit pants fit even better as a result. Lyssa was able to get me my clothes right before I needed them for a wedding (which was appreciated especially as they were facing massive power outages in this area for a few of those days), and it all worked out well! What a change! New machines. Updated interior with new floors and the addition of vending machines and WiFi. I didn't see the WiFi info anywhere though. I should've asked for them but ended up using my hotspot. I came here to use a larger capacity washing machine for my daughters comforter. The price was reasonable compared to area laundromats. I overheard the owner mentioning that they also do commercial accounts too. I was tempted to try their pickup service but decided I needed the time away from my desk. The have drop off service as well as dry cleaner and also provide services for businesses as well. So glad they are back in business!

There was also the standard vending machine in case you forgot any of your detergent and whatnot. There was one employee I saw working who was very nice when I accidentally spilled some powdered detergent on the floor. On the flip side, this place doesn't have the vibe that you'd want to hang out in and work while your laundry is going. There's no place to really sit at a table and do some work. I think most customers are locals who drop off their laundry and come back when their laundry is done. Drop it off at your own peril I suppose?

I went to this laundromat today for the first time. I don't live nearby, so I doubt I'll go back…read more But it was EXCELLENT. I had read reviews earlier today before I went, so I WAS expecting it to be good. When I got there and saw the place, at first I wasn't so sure. Then I learned the machines don't take quarters. They have a card system. I was not familiar with that at all. BUT the female attendant was Extremely Patient and Helpful! I wonder if she's the owner? She was excellent at making this a smooth situation for me. She put a reasonable amount of money on the card for me. $10. Helped me learn how to use the washer. The cost was $6.50. She also helped me with the dryers. That cost me $3.00. The dryers are THE BEST of any laundromat I've ever been to. And I'm in my 60s. I will definitely keep this place in mind whenever I need to do laundry and I'm down that way again.
