10/10 - Making plans to stop to pee here again…read more For anyone just looking for a rest step off the highway: the bathrooms are in the main building (with the candle) and towards the back middle. They're clean with tons of stalls and a cool rustic vibe. They do a great job knowing why someone might stop here. It's quick in, but (admittedly) a slower "out" as I usually end up shopping and finding neat stuff. You're probably going to walk away with something you want here too. It's a seasonal megastore every time we come here. During Christmas months, tons of Christmas. During fall, lots of autumn. During Spring, Easter, etc. You get it. It's not just the crap you see at big box stores; it's the special-ordered decoration places, feeling more like a huge Hallmark (if you remember those from the malls!) than just a bunch of stuff you've seen 30 times before. If you're not a decorator, they also have a decent selection of small business food (soup starters, seasoning packets for meats, etc.) and local craft beers (you can buy single cans!) to choose from. They ALSO, as the giant candle would imply, have tons of candles. Oddly enough, we rarely buy candles here - though they have a huge selection. We're usually much-more-distracted by everything else. There's also a fresh/homemade candy/fudge counter, and I *think* there's a coffee/cafe in the next-door building as well. They also sell outdoor decor? Some pretty neat stuff too. It's a really cool stop, and if you need to stop, it's well-worth stopping here over any of the nearby gas stations.

SO many candles!!! If you like candles, this place is like heaven! There are rows upon rows of…read morecandles in every scent and size you can imagine. They also have a section full of local Indiana beer and wine which is pretty cool. The bathrooms are also super clean! Definitely will a stop!

I had never heard of Sea Love until I saw an advertisement on Facebook for a Psych trivia night. As…read morea "psych-o" (a Psych fan), I was all in! It was not a trivia night like I was used to, but it was awesome! It was more of a candle making session 3 rounds of Psych trivia questions. They had themed mocktails and a made themed candle! It was so fun! The candle making process was SO much fun too! They get you set up with an apron and then show you how to mix and match scents that you might want. There are over 100 different scents to choose from! You also get to choose which size/color your candle jar you want. The pricing goes by the size of the candle, with the small ones starting around $38. After you choose your scents and jar, you go to your seat and then they instruct you on pouring the right amount of oil(s) for the size candle you are making. As you pour your oil until you get it to the right blend that you want, you stir the oil in the little measuring cup. After that, they help you with attaching the wick in the bottom of the jar. After that, you get some time to name your candle, make your label for it, and put the scent mixture label on the bottom. The last step is pouring in the oils and the hot wax! They give you a beaker of the hot wax depending on the size jar of your candle. You pour your oils in first and the hot wax on top. You then mix the wax and oils until they are well blended. After that happens, they give you a pair of "chopsticks" to put around your wick to keep it standing up while it curates. It takes 2 hours to curate. If you don't have the 2 hours, you can come back another day to pick it up. This was such a cool experience! I want to do a girls night out with it! In addition to this, the staff was AMAZING! Lily was super crazy helpful. She ran the trivia night. I won the trivia night in the time slot I was at. The prize was a wax melt and some popcorn. I ended up purchasing some other things to bring home!
