It is few and far between these days to find a hidden gem like this place. Marty, Greg, and Kelly (Hopefully all spelled correct) make you feel welcome as a patron from the moment you walk in the door. As you become entranced within the aromas and sights, it's easy to get lost in the quaint but efficiently laid out shop. All the essential tools of the trade you could immediately consider needing are sprinkled throughout and with an amazing selection for your consideration. It's easy to navigate the array of crystals and the little things like a clipboard to inventory what you are planning to buy is a helpful touch. They also carry a variety of books from novice to beginner, which is thoughtful. I am easily able to obtain herbs, essential oils, incenses and holders. They have an amazing amount of gazing crystals, so many types and sizes. Stellar books unwritten in with beautiful emblems and sizes to be considered for your uses. Runes and a variety of tarot as well as pendulums aplenty! There is a chalice selection too! Little stands, carved mini chests, athame, they do reading sessions by appointment and have potions and blessing bottles.... Wanna know what I love most about it here? The authenticity. They are so knowledgeable and want to make everything accessible to budding crafters and practitioners alike. I've gotten a reading here and it was very special to me. Hamilton has been my home forever. My grandmother who held my mother and me in a way have been here for a long. Long time. Having coexist here makes me feel more safe in this little pocket that isn't always the easiest to stick out in. As an emo and curious child I can't imagine having this as a resource. They are so respectful. With the mask mandates that are enforced (they also have you use their hand sanitizer upon entering and there is more allll around the store) I often get mistaken for someone under 18. They are positive and maintain great strong boundaries (like eligibility for the raffle and making sure the store stays positive, educational, and safe) it's a great place to let your kids explore their connection with nature and the metaphysical. I have to say, the two gentlemen that own this place are some outstanding people and so are those that are working there. They were extremely helpful, the prices were great, they were extremely courteous, and the vibe in general is just beautiful. One of the gentlemen that owns it had his husband come and talk to me for a few minutes before I left because I had mentioned my wife may have multiple sclerosis. In a matter of 2 minutes, he told me things that she should do to help herself feel better, without even being told her eating or drinking habits. He also mentioned that she had just had dental work done and I had mentioned absolutely nothing about that. These people truly have some amazing gifts and are willing to share them with you. I swear this is my favorite metaphysical store! The staff always has been & remains some of the most friendly and kind souls. This is one of the only stores in my near area where they sell all the witchy items you could think of & at a reasonable price. I have been going there for years now, and I could never get bored of it there, they always keep up with their stocks & changing out of items! Coexist is amazing. You cannot beat their prices. There's not another metaphysical store that even compares to how well priced their items are, and I've been to MANY, And have shopped in all the metaphysical/witchy shops in Hamilton. Coexist takes the cake. The staff and owners are SO SO friendly and approachable. They're easy to talk to and knowledgeable. This store is amazing. Willow is very helpful with custermers and knowledgeable about the craft. Gregg does the Tarot readings in a private room just for readings away from others customers. The atmosphere is very calming and peaceful. Greg's readings are spot on. I highly recommend that you go see Greg or Willow for your readings and all of you crafting supplies and needful things. This was the second time I've been here, and it was even better than the first (which was amazing too). I've found things I had given up on looking for because other places didn't have them, yet I found them here, and without even looking. After my ex wife stole all of my property while I was in prison, it was hard to replace it. I lost over $100,000 worth of occult supplies (most ofwhich were gifted from luminaries who've since passed), which included a library of just over 1,000 books relating to occult sciences and witchcraft. If you ever have to chance to go here, GO. Seriously. Hands down the most welcoming and comfortable spiritual shop I've been in. Everything has these labels/ plaques with information, tips, advice etc. and there is a great selection at a reasonable price. The staff didn't feel like a staff they felt more like friends because of how friendly/welcoming they are-and I'm saying this as an introvert! This store had a wide variety of books on practicing Wiccan and Paganism. The selection include material for beginners and long time practitioners and allowed for delving into specific topics within the practices. They have a large selection of stones, herbs, and candles as well other necessary tools. I loved the variety of tarot cards! The store has a welcoming vibe and the staff willing shared information to guide me in making selections. I went to the store for the first time today and I was so extremely surprised. Greg and Marty are the best and I felt totally at home there. The stock in the store was so much more than I could have dreamed of and if I had been on my own today I would have spent hours there examining everything.
