Her products are a lot of home decor, gifts for women, clothes, scarves, jewelry etc. always something new when I go! My favorite part are the lamps. If you are ever in the market for a neat lamp, her husband makes them and they are amazing. All kinds of unique pieces turned into lamps. This is my go-to spot if I need a gift for my mom, sister etc or just something for myself :) She also does events with local Hamilton businesses. We paid in full, over $5700, using our credit card and were told our order would be delivered in 6-8 weeks. On 5/25, after contacting them several times and being told they had no idea where in the process our order was, we contacted Bassett directly and were told 1) our order was not even placed until 3/30 and 2) our order was not even in production yet. We were assured by Shauna at that time that if we did not cancel the order with them that we would have it in June. On 6/28, my husband went to the store and was told, again by Shauna, that they did not have the order but they could surely have it in July. Also, that they are moving, which was evident by the appearance of the showroom, but couldn't give out a forwarding address yet. He asked then that the order be cancelled and we be given a full refund. We will see if this company has any integrity, and returns our money after this debacle.

Before checking out me and my friend were checking out the lip gloss and we were very rudely told that we were not allowed to be testing products. This of course is very understandable but It would make more sense if there was some signage or testers available. In most stores this is a normal thing to do. The owner scolded us as if we were children saying that it's "common sense". Afterwards she came back and guilt tripped us saying this is how she takes care of her family and our actions were "unacceptable". We are people just like her and we made a small mistake, no reason to act this way. I did NOT buy the stuffed tomato because I do not believe this business deserved the money. I believe that a right minded individual wouldve just approached the customers and informed them "please do not test the products." But this lady was extremely disrespectful.
