Such a cool store! I stopped by and was immediately greeted and welcomed in. I wanted to but my first tarot set and the staff were so helpful while explaining their options and during checkout. I also learned that they have a lounge two doors down, so I went and grabbed a drink and it turned out to be open mic night. I listened to a few songs and met some cool people at the bar. This place is amazing! Unique and filled with all kinds of wonderful finds from herbs, crystals, and all things geared to align your vibe or Spritual practice. I stopped in looking for a gift for a friend's birthday and left with the perfect glass-blown necklace and amethyst bracelet. I was also able to pick up a few healing gifts for a sick friend and an adorable matchbook and candle for myself. The staff were kind, helpful, and extremely welcoming. Witchlab is a super cool, dark and spooky place. It's like the set of a scary movie inside - full of creepy objects and very fun to walk around and check everything out. I think in some ways, Witchlab plays into every stereotype or fear of someone who doesn't know or understand what real witchcraft is about. In other words, this shop would scare people who don't "get" witchcraft. They have items for real witches as well as plenty of shock value/gag purchases for the trick or treaters - like all sorts of crystal and stone phalluses. Coming to Witchlab makes it feel like Halloween! You definitely have to check it out at least once. read more

As another Yelper mentioned here before me, my experience definitely blew my expectations out of the water. I came specifically looking to get a tarot card deck for myself and called ahead to make sure they had some in stock. After a quick and cheerful call, my friend and I jumped in the car and headed over. We found free parking right outside and once hearing that they were at capacity, we jumped back in the car and waited for other customers to wrap up. So appreciative of the extra health and safety precautions! When the time came a few minutes later, we walked in and my jaw hit the floor. My friend and I looked at each other and immediately there were stars in our eyes. We knew we came for something specific, but we couldn't not look around! From ouija boards to jewelry, stones, and even their own line of teas, this women-owned business is killing it when it comes to all things occult, spiritual, and witchy. Right away I was kicking myself for not knowing about this place sooner. After talking to the owner and hearing how she started the business out of her home 5+ years ago, and getting her advice on which tarot deck to get, there was no doubt that she knew her shit. Not only did I find the perfect tarot deck for myself, but my friend found a beautiful new ring, and we both found a dope business to support while also supporting our love for spiritual thangs. The shop had a really neat selection of objects, the general aesthetic of the store was superb and a lot of the literature seemed genuinely intriguing. However I had a really oppressive sense of unease the whole time I was there. The energy just kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I'm not really a witch at all, so I'm not sure if this store just isn't for me. But it was definitely a good bit creepier than I was expecting or would have liked it to be, even though I wouldn't rule out going back sometime. read more
