A locals favorite! It's been a while since I've taken a walk here and I can see that they are…read morebuilding more spaces for folks to play and get active. They currently have a wide walkway to get your steps in, multiple baseball fields, batting cages, tennis and pickleball courts, a street hockey field, outdoor equipment, and plenty of tables next to an outdoor cooking area. Of course, a fun playground for the kiddos. Right next to it was a pleasant surprise- a free little library! It was a little empty but I'm sure folks will add to it soon. Highly recommend you checking this park out this summer.

Went here for a park show. Redondo Beach Ballet of performing arts. The art show was cute. Boys…read moreand girls of all ages performing. There is plenty of parking on the North West side. This park is spacious. Has picnic tables, aquatic facilities, basketball court, pickel ball and a good outdoor stage presentation facility for events. Place fits over a 1000 people at this outdoor event venue. Bring your pop up tent and your fold up chairs to feel comfortable. With that said, my #1 gripe about this park, only two unisex toilets available! Who would put a 2 person bathroom with a cipher code that can accidentally lock. These two bathrooms is stationed like a miniature hut stationed by the entertainment area. Who ever engineered these bathrooms should be reprimanded. It was a dumb idea for cipher codes to be implemented. One bathroom was accidently locked with no one in there! Terrible idea. Over a 1000 people and only as two restrooms nearby! If you had to use the use restrooms.. you have to walk in the other side of the park where the picnic area is located. It is quite a walk! Walked or wait 30 minutes. Overall, its comfortable park minus the restroom situation.

First time here, overall we had a great experience. Was surprised to see several lifeguards on duty…read moreand all very attentive. One in particular was very loud and reprimanding people constantly but for safety reasons it is better to have that than one who is inattentive especially when there were so many young children. I do wish the website would specify that this is not free and there is a fee per person. I showed up already a little late and no cash on me. I had to go home with my kids complaining to get cash and would have appreciated seeing this information online when I learned about this pool and looked up the time/days this was available. Nowhere on the site does it say there is a fee and it must be cash. $2 per person - adult and children. I also wish the swim times were longer, perhaps an even two hours? Right now it is 1:15-2:45 - 1.5 hrs but hey, I'm glad to have something like this open, affordable and available for my small kiddos. The 2 1/2 ft area with splash pads is great for the smaller ones!

I recently had my engagement party here. I rented the whole pool area out and was able to bring as…read moremany as 150 guests. This was a great facility because it's really kid-friendly and it had a lot of space for them to rome. All of the staff and lifeguards are super friendly and helpful. Once we were allowed and we were able to use both locker rooms fully. They allowed us to play music also. But the only thing that I ask is that you do not bring food or drink into the pool area. All my guests love the entertainment. They were telling us throughout the party how much they enjoyed the pool party, and even inquired about throwing or have any event there as well. I grew up in Carson from a young little girl. So it's super cool to have so many available parks around. To have an event or small party like this. To be able to plan and book an event as such. You have to go through City Hall's permits office and booked earlier in the year!
