Amazing gym. Kids these days have it really good. This place is like a basketball player's paradise. I went at 2:30, and basically, I had the whole gym to myself. I was talking to the coach that works there, and he told me that the place gets busy after 3PM when the kids get off school. So if you're old like me and have some time during the day, go here, and you have the whole place to yourself. If you love the game of basketball, you need to come here to practice, work out, and get better. The gym is new and super clean too.

Really cool gym but $120 a month is a bit excessive. It should be at a $60-80 price point.

I just finished 4 weeks/8 sessions with Dan and I am extremely satisfied with my training!…read more Dan is a professional through and through. He tailored my workouts and listened to me. I read someone here say, he's in his office most of time. I say there is some truth to that but I am glad that he doesn't micromanages me! He is still watching through his computer what is happening on the floor. He saw me struggling finding a balance once and he came right out to correct my posture. He is watching at all times and I appreciate that. I also love the encouragement that the gives me. His statement, "you are not here to try, you are here to work" lives rent-free in my head. I push myself harder because I know he believes I can do it. The fee can be a little steep for others but you get what you pay for . I treat it as an investment I am making for myself. I now sleep better, have more energy and feels stronger physically. Lastly, there are quite a few people I've met who have been at this gym for over 3 years. What does that tell you? Hop on!

After completing my initial month of training, my primary takeaway is that the owner, Dan,…read moredemonstrates a clear lack of engagement and coaching passion. My friend and I terminated our membership after the first month because the coaching model did not match what was advertised. Dan claims to offer 1:1 personal training or small group sessions, but this was far from the reality. Typically, you have to approach his office door and ask what the workout is for the day. If you ask, he might briefly explain the movements; if you don't ask, he won't proactively offer guidance. Throughout the session, the owner remains seated in his office, observing via monitors. He rarely corrects form or offers instruction because he is not actively supervising the floor. On rare, lucky occasions, he might come out, say a few words, and give you a perfunctory high-five when you finish. I also experienced unprofessional practices regarding both pricing and communication. The day following my inquiry, the advertised 2025 price structure (which was $395 for two sessions per week/per month) was removed from the website, and I was subsequently presented with a new, higher rate. Furthermore, his follow-up email used highly deceptive sales language: "Here is what we have available with ongoing special including $50 OFF every package and it is month to month, no contract required nor any other hidden fees (Nutrition guide is also included in the package.)" 2 x per week = 8 sessions in one month, One month package is $395 The issue is that when I sought clarification, Dan stated that the $395 price we were charged was already the rate after the $50 discount was applied. This setup is highly misleading, as the email aggressively advertises a $50 ongoing special off the package, suggesting a lower final price. If you are looking for the dedicated, hands-on Personal Training (1-on-1 or semi-private classes) as described on the website, please consider other options.

Dbs go to 160 and they got all the machines you need and some you've never seen. Absolutely fantastic. The owner is around and he is a great dude. I've been to a ton of gyms and this is right up there with any of them. Great gym for those serious about working out or those who want to start and learn. This review is focused on the Assisted Stretching Studio inside Powerhouse Gym…read more I'm not really a gym person and had I not know Sasha my assisted stretching therapist had a location here I probably wouldn't have ever stepped inside. On my first visit I was greeted at the counter and directed to the studio. The studio is relaxing and comfortable, you hear some of the gym noise but it is not distracting. Sasha is very good at knowing how far to push you to get the most out of your session, her work is very therapeutic, after one visit my shoulder felt much better, I felt additional improvement after additional session. I didn't expect 100% improvement immediately but my shoulder feels much better, and after almost 10 years of discomfort I can't recommend Sasha enough. If you are in the gym stop in and schedule an appointment. Gym staff is friendly and helpful, they have a lot of equipment and space, and an assisted stretching studio on site for your pre or post workout stretch.

I asked Rico if I could work in on the squat rack while he was doing a circuit of 4 exercises where 3 exercises were off of the squat rack. He told me no and threatened me saying that he knew I was the one who complained about him and he "DOESN'T CARE WHAT MANAGEMENT SAYS". For being 65 years old you would think he'd be more respectful of people and the rules of the place he works at. I'm not sure if there are different rules at the other gyms he trains people at, but I would expect he would follow Equinox's rules. **Update - Today I asked again to work in Rico on the squat rack and he again said no.
