I spend my days drinking several mugs of hot black tea, and I've grown accustomed to having tea stains. My past dentists would always make a big fuss about it and try to convince me to just drink hot water or try some other solution. Other times I would walk away with only a 50% reduction in the amount of stains. This time the hygienist said it was "no big deal ", and she removed every single stain in what seems to be the same time I usually spend in the chair. The short story is: they lie/gaslight after making you wait 50 minutes for your scheduled…read moreappointment, pretending that you came in an hour early (see below), even when you have an appointment confirmation showing that you came in on time. And after calling them on it, they still pretend like you were the one who made the mistake. They also will offer you things in the chair, like fluoride, without telling you that they charge $20 extra for that and that insurance doesn't cover it after the age of 18. The long story is: my husband and I usually go to the dentist together. Today we went to our 8am appointments. I scheduled them first thing because I find that doctors and dentists usually get you in closer to your appointment time when you get their first appointments of the day. We showed up at 7:57am and the lady at the front desk said we were both checked in. This was our 4th or 5th time going to this dentist. My husband was called back for his cleaning at around 8:07am. I sat there and watched as everyone who came in after us was called back. At 8:25am, the lady at the front desk saw me sitting alone in the waiting room and asked me my name again. I gave it to her, and she responded that she just wanted to make sure I was checked in and that she was sorry for the wait. No big deal, I thought. These things happen. I sat there. No one talked to me again until 8:48am when the lady came to call me back. After she called my name out, I responded that it was too late and that I didn't have time to be seen because I had already been sitting there for 50 minutes and my husband had to get to work, and since we drove together, we would have to leave as soon as he was done. The lady asked me to hold on a minute and returned to the back. This is where they lost me. The lady returned and announced to the waiting room that my appointment was actually at 9am, and that they were sorry if I misunderstood my appointment time. This was a lie. I think she said that to make the practice look better to all the people sitting in the waiting room (several people had showed up since the last time they spoke with me). My husband had received a text reminder yesterday from this practice with both of our names on it confirming our 8am appointments. So if she went back to check the system, she made the decision to lie to me about it. This practice had already done some questionable things, like making us wait more than 20 minutes for scheduled appointments and asking us if we wanted fluoride in the chair, then letting us know after the fact that there was an extra charge for that. Those are annoying, but not deal breakers for me. It was the lying that got me. If you're like me and sick of all the lying and cheating going on in the world today, I suggest you find another dentist.

He took time to get to know me, never once pushed anything as far as treatments go. I did have a cavity that needed feel. He made the whole process comfortable, quick and seamless. So many things about his office impressed me, from just knowing my name, and my work, and asking about me- to his staff that are so nice and helpful. When I wanted to get an earlier appointment if one opened up, they made sure to call me at every opening they had, and eventually one worked for me, so win win for both of us. I've never known a dentist office to do that. They may say they do, but I was never called before now. Even after I got my cavity filled, Dr. Murphy himself, called me at 8:45 that evening to ask how I was doing, and check in with me. See if I had any questions and remind me that my gums were going to be sore and to take more ibuprofen. Whaaat??!!! Amazing. At my new dental office, during a routine cleaning and X-rays, they discovered issues with a crown that was placed about 3.5 years ago. The crown was not properly sealed, had a rough and sharp edge, and there was even a piece of cement left under the gum. What is most concerning is that I had multiple X-rays done at the previous office after the crown procedure, yet neither the dentist nor the hygienist ever mentioned these problems. Now I have to live with this crown until my insurance will cover a replacement, and the warranty has already expired. This situation has caused me both inconvenience and disappointment. I trusted this office for many years, which makes this experience especially upsetting. I wish I had been informed honestly and earlier so the issue could have been corrected in time.

I called at 8 am Amber Thankyou was amazing and she told to come in then, got there it was clean professional filled some paper work out and went right back. Then Then SHE CAME INTO THE ROOM- Dr Sparks Unbelievable made sure I was comfortable made me laugh literally (gas) and actual humor she listen as I said that I could still feel and took heed to that until I told her ok I can't and did what she does!!!
