Back story to the review I'm about to leave! I asked back in March about a reputable jeweler that could take my wedding rings and my Grandmothers wedding ring and come up with a new design that Included both diamonds from each of the rings! 3 rings in total. Now fast forward almost 6 months and this is the review I'd like to give for WISE jewelers in Cibolo off of Main Street. Do Not and I mean Do not bring your valued , loved and sentimental jewelry to this location. I have had the worst experience and have been left with nothing but melted gold , loose diamonds and a ring that's been taken apart. I was quoted about 4 months for the owner to redesign my rings and come up with a new band plus 2 extra rings with the smaller diamonds to make the bands. I called in July when it was supposed to be ready and was told they were behind and it would be early August. I then called last week and they said they were finishing up and getting them shined they would be ready by end of week. I never heard from them. So I called yesterday and I kept getting the runaround, so I decided to go up there because who would be able to lie to your face. Well that's exactly what happened. I went in and the lady had said they weren't ready and they were still casting the mold. Which mind you last week I was told they were done. at this point I'm livid and all I want is my rings back. She said she had them in the back and it would take hours for her to get them ready. I said I really hope you haven't melted the gold down already which she had. needless to say I asked for her to get them for me now. That's when she went back and had her assistant come to the front to tell me that the rings were not even in the store. The owner then came back up as I asked for her and was told that nothing had been even started and that the rings were just melted down and not even in started. I asked why she would lie not once but numerous times? She never could give me a valid excuse. So please please do not take your business to this lady. If you can't handle a job don't accept it. I went today and thankfully had my rings but am still left with just loose stones , melted down gold and my grandmothers wedding rings which has all the smaller diamonds missing. Edit to add: it now looks as though I'm missing gold I'm so devastated. Weighed what I had verses what my appraisal was and it's not the same and literally missing an entire band of gold. read more

I won't lie that I was a bit nervous after reading some of the recent reviews. But don't be! I had three items repaired (and ultimately cleaned)- a beloved cross pendant, my husband's watch, and a heritage pocket watch necklace that had a ton of sentimental value. The work was absolutely beautiful and extremely reasonable. Yes, 3 digits hurts the wallet but for what was done, it could have been far worse and I regained beloved pieces. My oh my, why two stars? Well because I did enjoy the ring I purchased, that assistance would have been worthy of a few more stars, but the "repair" I originally went to them for was a disaster. I took in a charm bracelet that needed to be repaired right before Christmas and was told it was not possible to be done prior to Christmas, disappointed by alright, let's fix it and save it for a surprise gift. Two weeks after dropping it off for a quick repair, I received a call stating as they were "repairing" it through soldering they noticed a few additional weak areas and asked if they should repair those too. Well, of course, don't want it to break a week after giving it back to my wife now, so go ahead and do those too. Another two weeks and I get a call that the "repair" is done but during the repair other issues have come up and it is not fixable. Stated the gold was hallow gold and as the soldering would happen in one place it would raise up and un tine in another spot, repeatedly happening, they gave up as to not cause any additional damage. Fine I go to pick up my bracelet to be charged for the work done. Now let me understand in order to fox it, you broke it more and yet I am still paying for it? Yep, think of it this way, you gave me a jar with a hole in it, to repair the hole, I put a crack in the jar, but I fixed the hole, so you need to pay me for the repair I completed and then I tell you it's because of the way your jar is made the crack happened. And then they want to show me another bracelet, really, I already paid for a "repaired" bracelet that shouldn't be worn as it's going to break again. Last dime this place gets from me. Too bad because the selection of jewelry was nice and there are a lot of items I would have purchased as it fits my wife and daughters' style, but this bad instance tarnished you from my places to frequent. read more

OK, this happened over last summer. I would not recommend this jewelry shop for watch repair. I took my G-Shock down to get battery changed well they changed the battery but they forgot to do two things tighten down the screws and tighten down everything. I brought the watch back two days later full of water, I asked for a refund of the battery and the lady told me no lesson learned don't bring your watch to get your battery changed there. My watch was full of water after the shower brought it down to get it cleaned up after I picked it up and it was running. I said what about a refund for the battery because it wasn't done right? The answer was no so I will give this one star but I have to finish this report like I said I do not recommend that you bring your watches down to get them repaired or a battery due to my experience. I left the phone number for contact. I'll have to take this up with the owner, as you see, I had no response. I do not recommend this jewelry shop at all. Like I said, I had to add a star to do this but this is a zero star. I did not feel comfortable in that store. It is not Customer orientated well I guess because I only had a little small battery. Kim is rude and argumentative. I've never met anyone so dismissive and hateful not just towards me but her employees as well. Will never come to this hole of an establishment again. I can't believe she's still in business. I do not do well when people gaslight me for problems they create, all I wanted was an update on my items and she became hostile anytime I asked for my jewelry back. Took my watch in for a simple band replacement and they took three days to do it and only worked on it when I called back to ask for the status. Then they charged me $35+ for one that broke the next day. Took my watch back and they kept it for three weeks without fixing it. Multiple times they told me it would be ready that day or the next day. They never called me back to say it was ready or to give me a status. I went back three times and was always promised it that afternoon or the next day. Finally went back to get my watch and a refund and they would only give me store credit (as if I wanted to do any more business with them!) They weren't going to give me my money back and when I told them they were stealing, Kim got all huffy and wrote me a check. She was very nasty towards me and argumentative. Terrible customer service here and I was trying to support local small business. I will not be back! Took my watch to another shop and realized they had kept my pins that hold the watch band on. Despite the missing pins, the new place had a new band on my watch within 10 minutes! read more

I have had two custom pieces of jewelry done by Wise Choice, a ring and a pendant. Both are beautiful! My mom took a picture of a ring we saw at Jared and Kim custom built it to fit my finger and did it for less than I would have paid had I bought it. Additionally, the pendant I had done was originally just a diamond but Kim added a halo. It is made of diamonds from my grandfathers ring. They were all different sizes, yet she made a beautiful pendant that looked symmetrical. read more

Great location downtown Cibolo. The owner, Kim, is very knowledgeable and friendly. She is very reasonable pricewise for her work, which is pretty stellar. I have had several vintage / antique pieces converted (pins to necklaces, etc) and they always look great. She also has a nice selection of jewelry- not huge but some pretty pieces, along with a few antique items that I love to peruse. Definitely recommend! read more
