After a somewhat exhaustive search for just the right horologist, I came across Mr. Simon for a…read moreRolex repair. I'd installed a sapphire crystal on the watch -- it normally uses an acrylic one -- but it interfered with the watch movement and my ability to secure the movement to the case. I couldn't figure out why so I brought the watch to Mr. Simon. Experience counts. He found the issue, rectified it and when I received the watch back, not only did it "run like a swiss watch", but cosmetically it appeared cleaner. Mr. Simon defines the word professional and hands down, I would trust him with ANY make or model of precision timepiece. His pricing is also more than fair. I would 100% take my Rolex to him again for any repair! Thank you, Mr. Simon.

So…read moredon't bother trying to navigate around the massive construction zone and the fitness camp runners nextdoor to get to them. Don't know how long ago they closed the physical location, but it must be pretty recent as Google maps still had an active listing. They called me back in less than 20 minutes though and she apologized for all the confusion. Unfortunately they don't work on my type of clocks so I have to go somewhere else. But it sounds like they can work on anything that is battery operated. Hopefully their website presence can get updated soon so no more runners have a near death experience from a bad lost driver on a Saturday. Just disappointed bc this was the only clock shop in San Antonio that showed as even having Saturday hours. But at least they answer the phone on Saturdays. :)

Okay, this Jeweler (Mr. C. Aaron Peñaloza) is a Godsend!…read more Normally, there are few harm-to-person emergency situations in the jewelry business. Today was an exception. My mother is 82 and has vascular dementia. Her left hand swelled up like a balloon 3 days ago and her wedding ring was causing the finger to swell twice its size! Dementia patients are sensitive to situations more so than others. Finally, she agreed to let us cut the ring off her finger. Time is of the essence as the mind can change immediately. In less then 20 minutes, Mr. Peñaloza was at our door and the ring was off in just a few minutes with no pain, no fuss. He was calm, kind and my mother had no issues. Of course, now she's mad at me, but at least she can keep her finger!!! I will most certainly be taking the ring to him after COVID has died down for repair. What an incredible man, incredible company!! In these trying times, this was definitely an example of kindness to others! Sandy
