The first stop was the Better Business Bureau website database. After entering my keywords AND that I was only looking for a company that was a BBB member; the single result was Joe's Window Cleaning. I checked out their website and noted a number of very positive customer comments. I immediately called to schedule an appointment for an estimate. They were on another job and we scheduled it for 5:00. He arrived on time and I immediately sensed his commitment to his work. It turned out that he did a neighbors house across the street a couple of weeks before. My wife was stunned at how clean their front windows were. Joe and I walked around the house, and I showed him the windows and glass doors needing cleaning, and what I wanted power washed. He went to his truck to formalize a proposal, and returned in 10-minutes. My opinion is that the costs quoted were more than fair; especially since it was below the amount I budgeted for the job. We scheduled the work for the following Friday. The day after our first meeting, he texted me to let me know he was available that day due to a schedule revision. I accepted and they arrived at 8:00 a.m. as promised. By the way, they wear booties for the inside work. I left the garage back door open so that they could get water and soft drinks out of our fridge. Later, I remembered that I'd forgotten, the five garage door windows, I mentioned this to him. Done at no extra charge! He power washed the front walk, the driveway, and a stone walkway from the driveway through the backyard to our deck. He also power washed the deck. It's ready for me to paint! Unexpectedly, Joe power washed our brick mailbox. Years ago, I borrowed a neighbor's power washer and did that exact job by myself. So many baskets on wheels that your Rachel won't need Ross to deliver her from the basket stealer! There are many of the smaller washing machines, too, and an entire wall of dryers stacked by two. If you forget your soap or bleach, there's plenty there to buy in a small booth manned by an attendant. Speaking of attendant, he kept himself busy the entire time I was there by cleaning every single machine and all surfaces. I've never seen a laundromat so clean! Three machines filled with snacks and drinks stand at the back next to two massage chairs where for a few bucks, your cares can be carried away with the suds. Of course in this washing in the time of Covid, you'll have to wear your favorite Wonder Woman or Batman mask in order to go in. Prices: Small machines: $1.75 in quarters Large washers: (hold your breath) $6.50 in quarters!! (Really?? This is the only reason that I gave this place four stars instead of five.) I cringed at the thought of having to come, sit, and wait (I suppose I am quite spoiled). I found this one by my home and on yelp. The neighborhood isn't too bad...lots of parking in front. I dont know about evenings as its 9am. However upon pulling in and getting out of car I noticed a full on syringe on the ground...what the heck am I getting into here was my thought. The inside is clean. The lady on duty is doing her job and moving around to each machine cleaning...and picking things up. TVs are on a variety of channels with closed captioning. WiFi code is posted. Lots of seating. Small washers take 25 min Dryers are 10 min per .25 cents Dryers hold 2 loads. I hope this helps you...happy washing

Pros -extremely clean -beyond helpful attendants -machines are in new condition -dryers work well & as described - low is ACTUALLY LOW & WILL ACTUALLY DRY COMPLETELY! You won't feel robbed needing to run the dryer over & over. -peaceful environment -so many fantastic amenities and services:from DoorDash service for wash & fold; free wi-fi; several tvs; clean restrooms and vending machines for the laundry & for you! Who couldn't use a cold beverage or an ice cream to cool off in this TX heat? Cons -top dispensers for soap & fabric softener had left overs from previous uses. PERHAPS THESE COULD BE CLEANED IN BETWEEN CUSTOMERS? Fortunately I had informed the attendant here about my last experience at another laundromat in South Dallas that left my clothes so soapy from previous users that clothes needed to be cycled 3 extra times after the initial wash with NO added detergents or softeners. -you can not change temperature on the dryers once they begin-MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE. -Needing to buy a special debit card -the card & adding funds will be on 2 separate transactions unless you only need to use $4 or less.
