Trust me, when your tooth is killing you, I was so relieved to hear that I can be seen the same day!! I arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment and I was instantly seen. Zero wait time. The whole process was so seamless. Dr. Peritore greeted me while I was sitting in the chair and was so patient and understanding of my issue. After taking an x-ray of my tooth, he immediately told me what needed to be done and that he can take care of it right away. After about 30 minutes, the pain was gone. Just. Like. That. I can't recommend him enough. If you're still searching around for a dentist, do yourself a favor and just give Dr. Peritore a call. You won't be disappointed.

The co pays we're paid on their website for "no contact" and I am so thankful they are still consistent, care and the office is extremely clean. The blonde lady nurse was nice enough to hold my hand when I received the numbing for my tooth, she was like a " mom" and talked to me - it was calming and the dr reassured me for my treatments. I am grateful by this is the way a dentist visit should be not like a larger place, the parking was ample. Accessible from the 135 expressway and the northern state pkwy.

Dr. Planken changed my whole experience of dentistry. I did my research online when searching for a new dentist. The reviews on my insurance and on her website had nothing but good things to say about Dr. Planken. And I am here to add the same. I called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Planken as a new patient and there was no problem scheduling me in. The secretary ran my insurance prior to my appointment to make sure I was covered. She also has new patient forms that you can fill out prior to your appointment so it goes smoother. Dr. Planken took me right in and asked about my prior dental history and other screening questions. It was a surprise to me that she also did the cleaning (which is usually done by a dental hygienist). I questioned this and Dr. Planken stated she does everything here. I found that it was much more personable and a more pleasant experience. Most of the time at the dentist, the hygienist does the cleanings and the dentist just comes in to poke around to see if there's any cavities at that's it. This was not the case. Dr. Planken conducted the cleaning, read the x-rays and did the whole exam. Like I said, I found the experience much more personable and very professional. I highly recommend Dr. Planken after my experience. She answered all my questions to the best of her knowledge and I am actually not dreading returning back to her office in 6 months. My trip was not close too. I drove from New Hyde Park to Wantagh for my appointment and there are plenty of dentists in and around my town. But I believe in the quality of good healthcare and Dr. Planken will definitely be my go to dentist from now on. Thank you Dr. Planken for changing my experience of dentistry for the better!

I was desperate and looked up "emergency dental" and found Stony Brook Family Dentistry. They were a pleasure to deal with, and hit me in the next day. Dr. Baum and his staff couldn't have been nicer, and presented me with several options to my dental issue. I chose extraction. Now let me tell you, I've only had 1 extraction in my life, and it was not a pleasant experience, but I'm telling you, as god is my witness, Dr. Baum had that extraction done before I even knew what happened! I was literally shocked at how quickly, smoothly, and painlessly it all happened. He talked me through everything he was doing, and I appreciated that. I don't know a lot about a lot if things, but I know this: my family just found our new dentist. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
