Ultimately a new bumper was needed, paint work performed and a few dents needed to be pulled out. I had no idea what to do for repairs and looked around for a well reviewed shop to take on this relatively small job. I found Gerber on Yelp and I have to say, I am phenomenally happy with my experience. Submitting a quote online was super quick and easy. I received a response in a few hours. Later, I submitted a claim through the responsible party's insurance. I was interested that the shop performed their own paint work and was skeptical that they could match my car's unique red metal flake finish. The technician assured me that they do their best but let me know it may be a slightly different shade in certain lighting conditions. I was definitely a bit worried, but it turns out that they did an excellent job. I got a call about a week later that my vehicle was ready for pickup. I was so happy with the results of my repair! The bumper matches the rest of the car perfectly and the workmanship is second to none. I couldn't be more pleased. What's more - they matched their quote within about $50. You just can't beat that. Gerber turned out to be an excellent choice. I kind of wish I got rear ended harder so they could have done more work on the car (I'll be careful what I wish for).

After 181,000 miles, my 2014 Tesla Model S suffered damage to her hood and bumper. Having taken my cars to PAW for nearly two decades with incredibly excellent results, I had no hesitancy about trusting their award-winning abilities. My insurer (State Farm) immediately approved them, PAW saw me with no delay, and all I needed to do was drop my car off and pay the deductible when picking my Baby up after repairs were timely completed. The friendly and courteous staff made the entire experience stress-free and, as usual, their work was exceptional. I should mention I had PAW detail my S while the repairs were being done. My girlfriend was astounded with the result, telling me the car looked as if it were "two days old!" Please consider them the next time collision, paint or detailing work is needed!

My wife looked at reviews on Google and found this establishment and saw that the pricing was quite reasonable. She contacted them to do the work. The bill was $85. The work, as you can see in the picture of the billing receipt we received, was guaranteed. The work did not hold, the crack spread, and we contacted the company for a refund. Up front, I will say we did receive our refund eventually. However, it was how it was handled, in part, that led to this low rating. Normally, I would not go out of my way to describe the situation in detail, but please see this as a kind of public service report. First, my wife texted the contact person to arrange for a refund. He was already gaslighting her that it wasn't his fault the work did not hold. His reply was curt. In my opinion, it was rude. But, he agreed to come see it. When he arrived, he was agitated enough that my wife asked me to accompany her with the person to our car. He was rather aggressive and rude to us both. When we reminded him of the guarentee listed on his website and the billing receipt, he became extremely agitated, stated that another hit caused the crack to expand and he did not think this was his responsibility to refund. We disagreed. He swore under his breath, pulled out his wallet and said he'd refund. However, he did not have the cash on him and hurriedly stated he'd mail us a check. We were not confident he would, but to his credit, he did. If this was the end of it, I would not bother to write this review. Maybe he had a bad day. We all lose our cool from time to time. It is the next action he took that led to this low rating. After his rude behavior, he was so flustered, he jammed his wallet back into his pocket, got into his car, and sped away at a dangerous rate of speed from our neighborhood. We have dozens of small children who walk and ride bikes and scooters. We have people with disabilities and older adults who don't move as quickly as they used to move. His driving was dangerous! I'm grateful nobody got hurt as he sped out of the neighborhood. It was a thoughtless, reckless, immature action that could have ended tragically. Certainly not worth $85. If I'd have known he would have done that, I would not have bothered with the refund! I'm just glad he mailed it and did not return to our neighborhood. I would not have wanted him endangering anyone I know with his demonstrated reckless. This review is for your consideration when hiring car windshield repair service. Post script: We had the windshield replaced at the nearby Safelite Repair in West Allis. Expensive service (safety system required recalibration), but consummate professionals.

I searched through all the junkyards in Milwaukee to no avail, and finally checked Craigslist under "Auto Parts". I was delighted to see that they had listed FOUR Sonatas - all in my year! I called over to the place and a nice gentleman confirmed that he had several on the lot. I told him the specific part I needed and he said he'd pull one off and have it ready for me - for $25. What a fabulous deal! So I skipped my lunch and headed over there around 4:30 on Tuesday. I parked and went into the dingy office, not greeted by anyone. I told the Russian man behind the counter what I was looking for and he had a young man (maybe his son?) take me out there. We were crawling through heaps of totalled vehicles trying to find Sonatas. We found one, and the visor was broken. We crawled around 10 more minutes and the second one was broken. The third "sonata" was really an "elantra". We went in to tell the owner/manager and he said that he'd just sent one to be junked not more than a half hour ago. I was VERY frustrated and told him not two hours ago I spoke to a man specifically mentioning that car and why would he junk it? He yelled at me that I "hadn't spoken to him" and I was free to leave my phone number so they could call when a part came in. No thanks - with this luck you'll call me saying that a Dodge Neon would fit my parts perfectly. I guess I'm stuck paying full price after all. Overall the place was what I'd expect from a "junkyard", dirty, unorganized, dogs walking around, and not a lot of english. What I wasn't expecting was unapologetic misleading.

I had a couple other scrapes and chipped paint on my car but when they quoted me the price I couldn't afford to get everything done right away so I chose to just get the important thing fixed, the bumper. Only 2 days later they called to let me know it was done and when I picked up my car not only was the bumper perfect but the scrapes and paint chips I had on my car were fixed too! They do a great job, are affordable, and I'm always pleased.
