They had an opening from a cancellation on Tuesday morning, so I took that opening, and I was able to drop my car off on Monday evening. There is a key lockbox, and the the exterior has cameras all around for security. They finished the work about 6 hours before the estimated time (I was told evening, and it was done about noon on Thursday). I picked up the car on Thursday evening when I was available with no problem. They were thorough with instructions to protect the work done. I highly recommend Blackout.

Now to be fair, every car I've had in the past was tinted by tint boyz and it never bubbled,…read morechipped, streaked, etc. so I always felt comfortable with them and sent people to them. Now sometime in 2020 I was researching how one can tell they have carbon or metal-dyed tint. I knew they were using Suntek Films from their website. So out of curiosity I asked them what kind of tint they'd be using on my windows and the young man replied "HP for carbon" due to my car being newer. Keep this in mind: their website says they recommend, use, and charge an extra $10 for carbon tint; metal-dyed would be $179. Other shops in the area are charging between $300-350 for carbon tinting so I became even more suspicious. If you search around, you'll find that HP for Suntek means high performance which is NOT carbon tint... it's metal-dyed. So I paid $10 extra for metal-dyed, not carbon as I was promised. Only reason I went with them is because of a great past history with them and I have a panoramic sunroof so I'm not worried about metal interference with my electronics. I just wish they were honest and fair about everything hence the 3 stars. I posted this "buyer beware" story just in case carbon tinting is truly what's need.

I scheduled an appointment to remove the 7-year-old tint from my back window because it had started bubbling up (I guess that is normal for old tint). I arrived at the shop on a Saturday morning at 9 am, expecting to be served promptly. However, I and another vehicle waited outside until well after 9:30 am, as no one was at the shop. Meanwhile, I received texts confirming my appointment, but the employee was nowhere to be found. Finally, sometime after 9:30 am, an employee arrived to open the shop. He started working on removing the tint and servicing the other customer. I was out of the shop by 11:45 am, but the new tint that was installed had small bubble spots and an area that looked like there was a crease in it. I felt that the job had been rushed and poorly executed. I emailed Tint Pros about the issues and sent them pictures. They agreed to fix it. After the second attempt, I thought the tint was perfect, but days later, I noticed the same problems. The crease area was still present, just a little smaller, along with a few new spots. Again, they agreed to fix it. Now after the 3rd try, the small bubble looking spots are still there. You can only see them from outside of the window, but I give up. After this experience I'll continue to go to Blackout and spend the extra money for a better, more professional experience, where the tint is done right the first time. Pictures are from every visit.
