I've been going here for years to get my windows tinted. They are always professional and fast. Never had a problem!

Now to be fair, every car I've had in the past was tinted by tint boyz and it never bubbled, chipped, streaked, etc. so I always felt comfortable with them and sent people to them. Now sometime in 2020 I was researching how one can tell they have carbon or metal-dyed tint. I knew they were using Suntek Films from their website. So out of curiosity I asked them what kind of tint they'd be using on my windows and the young man replied "HP for carbon" due to my car being newer. Keep this in mind: their website says they recommend, use, and charge an extra $10 for carbon tint; metal-dyed would be $179. Other shops in the area are charging between $300-350 for carbon tinting so I became even more suspicious. If you search around, you'll find that HP for Suntek means high performance which is NOT carbon tint... it's metal-dyed. So I paid $10 extra for metal-dyed, not carbon as I was promised. Only reason I went with them is because of a great past history with them and I have a panoramic sunroof so I'm not worried about metal interference with my electronics. I just wish they were honest and fair about everything hence the 3 stars. I posted this "buyer beware" story just in case carbon tinting is truly what's need. read more

I used to bring all my cars here. During Covid they cancelled appts, ran out of film and I rarely got an answer. But cmon people were out of the dark now, you cancelled my appt after waiting 3weeks from booking and told me you ran out of film again- would call me back and never heard from you again. POOR business etiquette to say the least. The place is ALWAYS full of cigarettes smoke and bad deodorizer... and I once had a tint job here where the water/cloths they used stunk like mold. Everytime it got hot out - so did my windows, FUNKY stinky Just being honest- I think they've a hard time keeping employees hence cancelling customers appts and forgetting to reschedule. read more

Special thanks to Bill and the guys over at Tint Boyz for the work today. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND them as did everyone else here on Yelp. The location is a small old gas station that they have converted. The answer to the question about the smoking, yes they smoke. However window tinting is not something you should wait around for, so drop it off. I did wait for my car because it didn't bother me. The service was fast and the work was done right. They offer a Life time warranty against bubbling, purple color changes, and their work. I struggled with the percentage of tint, but ultimately went with the 35% carbon fiber Suntek all around. Perfect choice on my black Chrysler 300 with black leather interior. I've added a few pictures to help you recognize this location, and appreciate the quality of their work. read more

Workers all smoke in the shop and in the waiting room. No respect for the customer. Terrible if you are waiting for your vehicle, it was like sitting in a smoke booth. Forced to sit there longer because they damaged someone else's vehicle and the argued and talked shit about them while I sat and waited. Offer heard them threatening to go to that customers house. Great Job and very reasonable prices. I would have given 5 stars except allowing smoking in the waiting room was horrible. I felt like I was stepping into a bar from 5 years ago with the amount of smoke in such a tiny space. Well I have been getting my windows tinted here for years and they service has not changed too of the line they always leave my car as clean as it came in. CASH ONLY!!!! Their website doesn't mention this, but make sure you have cash to pay for everything. Or, you could use the ATM that is in the waiting area. I was initially hesitant in trying this place, and the smell of smoke in the waiting area added more to my trepidation. But their politeness and eagerness to help really won me over. They were very knowledgeable and very efficient every step of the process. They got all four windows and back window done within an hour an half and so far, I have no complaints. They provide a lifetime warranty and they charge a very reasonable cost for what they did. Other than the smell of smoke, I have nothing but a great experience with them. read more

Well done on window tint. When the owner came in to organize a few mishaps it balanced out great.! The wait wasn't as long and make sure to ask them about waiting for your vehicle if u bring more then one. I've had my last 4 vehicles tinted at Tint Boyz, and they were all perfect tint jobs. I've been coming here for years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I even asked the dealership I bought my new car at about tinting, and I wasn't surprised to hear them tell me they too bring all of their tint jobs to Tint Boyz. They're a high end shop, and every time I'm there, I see Mercedes, BMW, Aston Martin.. this last time there were 2 Dodge Hellcats getting tinted at the same time! No frills get the job done kinda place. Great prices and quick service. Had a 1 o'clock appointment for the tinting of 2 windows and was out by 1:20. Definitely would bring any future tints here. Unfortunately not a five star here. Took my car in for window tinting at 1 o'clock at 4 o'clock they call me to tell me that they cannot tint my windows because there's previous glue on the back window as a professional window tinting company I expected it to be just an up charge instead they refused service. When I picked up my car I wanted to express my opinion about poor job that was not done and how long it took them to tell me that they cannot do it instead Jeff the installer decided to have an argument with me when I was done arguing I chose to leave and Jeff was at the top of his voice. There was no apology Instead they made it seem like it was my fault I recently purchased a car and did not know there was glue on the back window. read more

What can i say, besides top notch work once again. Brought the Lincoln in on a Saturday night at 6pm. Actually a bit earlier cause they called me and said they could get me in a bit sooner. There isn't any other tint shop in town that you can get an appointment at 6pm on a Saturday night. They did the whole car plus a strip at top of windshield, and it looks awesome. Tint Boyz did a great job on my car! They were kind and very polite, they took the time to help me decide which shade of tint was best for me and my car ( I chose 15%). All of the tint there is computer cut, so they have the tint laid right up against the edge of the glass. The entire job took about two hours but it looked great in the end, I would definitely recommend them to anyone in Milwaukee who wants to add style and comfort to there car. The only reason why i give them 4 stars is because they didn't buckle my sons car seat back in after doing the rear glass. Otherwise Great Job keep it up! read more

I let another shop do my tint and the job they did was absolutely horrible!! I had the shop remove the tint from my car and called Tint Boyz. I explained my dilemma to them. Although they were booked a month ahead they were nice enough to squeeze me in the same day. My tint was done in under 2 hours, and the tech did an exceptional job!! I just love my tint! I seriously am so happy I found these guys! I had just bought my dream car and the place I took it to in Illinois to get tinted costed me over double with this place charges and I had to go back there twice. The first time there was a piece of hair in my back window and then when I got home I noticed to creases in my side windows. That night when I got home I was so upset and started looking for the best window tinting place in Milwaukee. The owner took the time and spent 30 minutes on the phone chatting with me that night. The next day I had to go back because they would not refund me my money so they redid the back two windows and one of the front windows which I didn't even ask for. Directly after I got it done I went by these guys just to have them take a look. And what do you know another hair was in my passenger door tint! I was so upset. They got me in at 8 p.m. the next night and even stayed late to do it! Jeff did the tint and it was absolutely perfect! No hairs, no ripples, no dirt. PERFECT!! Thank you guys so so much! I have work done by them and was not satisfied at all. There were 2 scratches on the side and bubbles all over back window. Went back unsatisfied and the owner started yelling at me in front of my child, cursing and all sorts of stuff. Not only that I hated how they did the job, I was treated the worst possible way by the owner. I would not recommend this place, not even to the worst enemy. read more
