We stopped in Madison for a break, and after stopping at a red light, I saw some poor person's wheel bound across the intersection. Turns out I was the poor person, and the wheel came off MY trailer, and I mean the tire, the wheel, the brake, and other parts I cannot identify. It was bad. I searched online for trailer repair, called a few places, and the one I could reach (not Gervasi) told me it would be at least 4-6 weeks to order a replacement axle. There are only 2 good months for boating in the Chicago area, and we had plans in two weeks for the boat. We had to get home for work the next day, so we had a tow truck take the trailer+boat to Gervasi, hoping they would be able to fix it quickly. I called them on Monday, pleaded for mercy and to get my boat back in a week. They were pretty backed up, but since they did manufacture axles on site, there was some hope. I am very happy to report that they had the trailer (and boat) ready for pickup the following Saturday, and we even manged to take a spin on the lovely lake in Madison before heading home. The following weekend, we had friends on the boat, and I remained happily married. All thanks to these guys at Gervasi who fixed the trailer that was left at their place, and had the ability make whatever parts other guys had to order. I really appreciated it! The pictures attached are the before pictures. I didn't take any after pictures, sorry. But it was so beautiful to see the boat moving again, trust me!

On Friday July 31, 2026, I took the vehicle in for an oil change at another place and had the mechanics go over the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle for $10,891.00 and the estimate for the repairs the car was going to need right away was $8000.00. It had a cracked timing belt, the oil cooler was shot, the valves were leaking and the sunroof screen where it opens was all rusted. My $11,000.00 vehicle just became $19,000.00 vehicle in a day. None of these major repairs were disclosed, which I am sure they knew about. The vehicle is for sale on their lot again and I am reasonably confident the next buyer will not be told about the huge repair expenses the vehicle needs asap. They would not commit to paying for any of the repair cost, nor would they pay for the money I already spent on the oil change, all new filters and new wiper blades totally $328.00. The only good thing they did was buy the car back from me on August 3, 2026. If you are looking for a used car I would certainly look elsewhere.

I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant to fly out after reading some of the mixed reviews, but knowing they've been in business for over 20 years gave me confidence that they were legit. I'm glad I trusted my gut because wow! Abe picked me up from the airport, and gave me a ride to the dealership. Abe and Zane were super friendly throughout the whole buying process, and made everything easy. The car was exactly as described--clean, well-maintained, had maintenance records, had the original window sticker, and was in great shape! I didn't find any issues during my thorough pre purchase inspection or on the 8 hour drive home afterwards! I'm very happy with the experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a solid car from a team that knows what they're doing. If they have one you want definitely give them a call and I'm sure they won't let you down!

He gave an extensive report & photos showing our 1999 JEEP could not be on the road anymore as I was going through a divorce having medical bills I was forced to keep my jeep functioning but sadly the WI SALT RUSTED the underside frame. Mike then helped inspect a VAN we were considering from a private owner to ensure it was a good safe vehicle for the price/milage vs price having more knowledge & experience than we do as previously I bought vehicles from dealerships but being disabled on fixed income I can't be stranded nor had money for any surprised repairs. This was so helpful to us to make sure we invested our money into a used van that will meet our needs for $6600. He gave us knowledge to handle this transaction with the title & checked so we were not scammed as we experienced looking for a used vehicle on CRAIGSLIST....that seller was lying that we caught them scared us because we are struggling it is SAD to almost be harmed that MIKE'S ASSISTANCE took away so much stress that is priceless when disabled, poor & suffering other issues. We gave a TIP he did not want to accept but we insisted telling him to buy lunch for his staff or give them each a $20 bill as I said his kindness helped us so much that he /staff needed a little treat.
