While their website boasts guaranteed delivery by Christmas, they are unable to stand by this promise. I wish they would simply be upfront about it. As a small business owner and professional photographer, I want to support fellow small businesses--but I also value transparency. It would be far better for them to say, "We are a small operation, and orders may take longer than 30 days to arrive." Customers would then know what to expect, rather than being misled. Regrettably, I gave them another chance this year after a similar issue last year. I placed my order on Thanksgiving, and once again, it will not arrive by Christmas. It also feels suspiciously convenient that after sending a complaint email, I received a tracking number a few days later--perhaps only the "squeaky wheels" get attention. As a professional photographer, I have had to remove PhotoBarn from my recommended list for print products because their delays have reflected poorly on me when I suggested them to clients. While the products themselves are adorable--which is why I am giving two stars rather than one--the experience underscores that even excellent products cannot make up for a lack of honesty, reliability, and transparency.

I made an appointment in a week. Because the shop was concerned about how low my car was, they offered to come to my house and do the install there! How convenient is THAT ?!? Awesome.
