Ticket sales were limited to 50 so assume that's capacity. High power lines kind of disrupt the view, but welcome to Batavia. It is what it is. The rustic doors which separate that space, while attractive, were a bit ineffective at blocking out sound from a rather small group in the front bar.

We really appreciated that they included a delicious roasted red pepper soup. It really warmed us up on the sub-zero winter day. My favorite savory item was the fancy grilled cheese that I dipped into the soup. My favorite sweet was the blondie bar. It was a fun special occasion. One thing I did appreciate that might sound weird is you have to prepay when you make the reservation. It was nice to just show up, enjoy the experience, and then leave when you're finished. Tip: the shop is on the southwest corner of the building complex. After you park you will need to walk through the courtyard towards the river to find it. The map that comes with your room key definitely helps. You can walk from the guest rooms to the conference center area, but make sure you have on comfortable shoes. The staff for our event night were fabulous, especially the bar tenders. They are hard working and accommodating people. The event room looked beautifully lit and decorated. While the sleeping rooms are dated and have visible wear and tear in them, they were comfortable and quiet to stay in. I appreciated the nice shampoo, conditioner and body soap in the showers as well as the complimentary dental kit, since I forgot my toothpaste.
