Horrible experience with this company. Unprofessional and absolutely price gouging opportunists. I was denied a refund after having to cancel because of the Coronavirus the only service I needed was for someone to set up then remove uplighting for my 70th birthday party and provide a forty five second Billow of smoke for my entrance. At the initial meeting which took place at my venue the proprietor thought it acceptable to bring along his five year old child who was a constant interruption. He asked for a percentage of the total cost at that time and moments later tried to inflate the charge. Every vendor involved in the execution of a very formal party has come forth with a refund except Wired Up Entertainment. The party was to be months from now and has cost this company nothing. They did not have to purchase anything or produce anything yet they refuse a refund to an elderly woman in a time If worldwide crisis. My husband and I got married on October 31st. We hired Wired Up Entertainment for our ceremony and reception based on a suggestion from our venue and we were not disappointed! Our wedding was on Halloween and we really wanted to embrace the spirit of the Holiday. We wanted an almost cheesy haunted house aesthetic with a funny/lighthearted feel to our whole evening. We told our contact at the venue what we were looking for and he couldn't speak highly enough about the crew at Wired Up Entertainment. When we spoke to Joey he took the time to discuss the various options we had to create the feel of the evening we were looking for within our budget. We were impressed with the various lighting options and the ability to include TV screens to show spooky visuals and slideshows. We even had the ability to stream our event so friends and family who weren't able to attend could still see the ceremony and reception. I think what impressed us the most though was how seamless the whole day was. If there was an issue our DJs were on it. We were actually able to enjoy our reception while Eric and Melvin took care of everything. They let us know when it was time to do the important stuff like special dances, cake cutting, etc. so we didn't have to worry about a darn thing that night. We got to eat our dinner, have our cake, and dance. We were so happy that we could actually enjoy our day. I'm told that's rare. We found out that there's a reason Wired Up Entertainment has such a fantastic reputation. We had multiple guests go out of their way to tell us how much fun they had and how fun our DJ was. Eric was great at getting people out on the dancefloor and Melvin was really good at balancing our personal taste in music with stuff that's more danceable for our guests. That's talent We can't thank Wired Up Entertainment enough for embracing our theme, creating a fantastic Hallowedding atmosphere, and running the evening so we didn't have to! My daughter and my future son-in-law called Wired Up to get a quote and talk with them. The gentleman they spoke to cursed several times in their conversation. Had no regard for their financial situation and called other DJ's smucks. Is this really how you aim to obtain new business. Well here's a negative comment. I picked Wired Up for my work holiday party and was not disappointed! DJ's were fun and knew how to keep the party going. I liked the preparty music selection option, so we were able to get all of our favorite hits in! We did the DJ/photobooth package and the price was very reasonable. To say Joe and the Wired Up team made our wedding unforgettable would be an understatement! I knew from the start of the planning process that they were the perfect fit for the wedding we wanted to have! Joe and his team were so professional keeping everything running on time so I had nothing to worry about except having a blast! They had an outside set up for ceremony music and the volume was perfect, not too loud and not too soft! They even supplied a microphone so our guests could hear our vows and the entire ceremony which is a huge pet peeve of mine at weddings. Our reception was a blast from start to finish! We even ended up extending to keep the party going a little longer! We added on a photobooth and the percussionist which was the best decision I could've made! Michael Romeo had our wedding reception jumping from introductions and the Eagles fight song to the very last song of the night! If I could re-do our wedding reception I wouldn't change a thing about hiring Joe and Wired Up- best decision ever and money well spent! We really enjoyed working with Joe and DJ Torrin who DJed our wedding. The music was on point and guests actually came up to us afterwards and complimented how perfectly timed the songs were. We provided a selection of 15 songs or so and DJ Torrin figured out what kind of music we liked based on that. After my 90s jams, he topped the night off with Sweet Caroline, which my WVU alum husband and his groomsmen went crazy over! You should see the pictures. We were also shocked how reasonably priced the services were. We had the best time and it wouldn't have been the same without wired up entertainment. Five stars from us!! read more
