I came in initially for just to relax and warm up on a winter day after recently moving to Winthrop. I've since been back 3 times and she is helping me with a shoulder injury. She spent time with me to better understand my injury and we did a whole session just focused on my shoulder and I've noticed a huge improvement. Even though it was a short appointment just to work on my shoulder, Donna spent a bit of extra time on other areas to make sure I also got a relaxing experience. She even followed up by email with some shoulder specific stretches to do in between visits. Her space is beautiful and very tranquil. My boyfriend reached out to her to get me a gift certificate for Valentine's Day and she was very helpful! Go see Donna!!!

The 2nd week, she asked me to change my appt since she'd accidentally double-booked. Although it made me late, I did. I thought it was odd & uncomfortable when she hinted for a tip, but I let it go. The next week she left a message (at the last minute) ditching my appt, saying I'd HAVE to choose a new time the next 3 weeks if I wanted to see her. What kind of therapist can't honor her appts? It gets worse. When I asked that she refund my unused massages, she lied - in writing. She says it was my misunderstanding: that when she took my $450 she didn't book specific appts, there was no guarantee. Oh yeah? Funny, I still have her phone message where she says sorry she messed up, she double-booked my time, she should have told me sooner, etc. Anyone with integrity would refund my balance. Instead, Sarah is making me hound her through the various consumer protection agencies to get my money back. Enough said.

You start in a eucalyptus steam room then you get a body scrub (this i wasnt exactly prepared for its definitely a different experience) and then you move on to a dry sauna. Im not sure how such a small woman was able to apply so much pressure (i asked for hard) or how she tossed me around so easily but she definitely got all the knots out that I didnt even know I had. She walked on my back which was another new experience for me (you can opt out of it) and again used her feet better than some places use there hands to find the areas that really need it. Every step of the way they explain what youre getting into and say you can cut anything short that isnt for you. Also most importantly the place was super clean. I will definitely be back and with this price point it will be more often than i thought possible.
