Harrison's Pharmacy is located in the Dover shopping plaza on Curry Ford Road. If you are unfamiliar with this shopping plaza, it is the shopping plaza where Clemons Produce and the Daybreak Diner are located. Harrison's Pharmacy is next to the Daybreak Diner and a few doors down from Clemons Produce. The staff at Harrison's Pharmacy are friendly and professional. Again, it is good to see an independent Pharmacy surviving in a world that is definitely leaning more towards corporate monoliths. Harrison's Pharmacy is a glimpse into what yesterday was like. When I was a kid growing up in new jersey, we had a place called Phelp's Pharmacy and the owner knew us all and his son worked there. He was definitely a part of our community. I want to leave a positive review because humans tend to only leave reviews after a negative experience and I don't want some person to be deterred like I may have been. The service I received was amazing and quick compared to the big retail pharmacies I have gone to in the past. Within the same day I was contacted by Lily who got all the information she needed for my insurance, and she was super kind and patient with all of my questions. Secondly, my medication was delivered in three days which is far sooner than I would have expected and I am very pleased with my experience. It's a small business and I feel great supporting small, local business. I highly recommend this pharmacy. The people that work there are super nice and threat you so politely and welcoming I always go here for my medication since they are very quick and take no more than 15 to 20 mins or even less. I like that, because I don't have to make the trip twice. They take my insurance and I'm sure they take many other providers. It's in a very convenient location and easy to find. I will be coming here for my future prescription since it's not so far from me and even though it is not the closest oharmacy I can go to, I will do the small trip for the good experience and great service.

My grandmother was having to look for a new pharmacy and we were recommended to this place by her pain management DR. We arrive and the lady and gentleman that were behind the counter were absolutely as helpful as they could be. There was miscommunication between my grandmothers old pharmacy so she gave them a call. As she was on the phone, said manager came over and attempted to speak with her, I advised her that she were waiting, as she was very clearly speaking on the phone. She asked me to tell my grandmother to come speak to her when she was finished and I agreed. I stayed seated and my grandmother walked up to the counter and started speaking with her, to ask her if she was willing to speak with the Walgreens pharmacist so he could explain what happened. Now, this part... is not about WHAT she said, it was HOW she said it. She VERY rudely told my grandmother that she can not and will not touch her phone and will not speak with them. My grandmother ended the call with Walgreens and this manager constantly repeated herself about recommending to call her insurance provider. My grandmother would ask a question and her only response she could possibly think of was "call your insurance" no matter the question! My grandmother is nearing 70 years old and has a hard time understanding some things, which is why I come along. As my grandmother was ready to leave, the manager decided to say YET AGAIN "call your insurance provider blah blah" I responded to her that I heard her and will explain it to my grandmother. As we were walking to our vehicle, I was already explaining what she was recommending to my grandmother and this manager had the audacity to FOLLOW US OUTSIDE to tell us that we were being rude and we are not welcomed back. I'm sorry but not once was anything said during that conversation was rude OTHER THAN HERSELF. I had not said a single word to her until we were on our way out when I stated that I will explain it to her. She followed us out to "confront" us and I hope she feels like a complete bitch because even then, during the confrontation, we were not rude, if anything we were CONFUSED and SHOCKED to even see her walk out those doors, nothing was said besides me attempting to explain myself and explain that I was not rude and was only saying I would explain it to her. I don't know what this lady has up her ass but someone needs to do her a favor and rip the damn thing out. The owner was very sweet and answered all of my questions regarding the shower bench I was purchasing and showed me how to adjust all the parts and even offered to take it to my car for me. He didn't even mind when I called another supply store to compare prices before I made my purchase. The store uses a "square" register which is always convenient. I am only giving the store a lesser rating as the shop is on the smaller side compared to other medical supply stores I have been to, but they do have a nice variety of bathroom aids, medical hoisery, canes/walkers etc, and other miscellaneous supplies.

We had stopped by before on another day but the business was closed. Unfortunately there are no posted hours of operation. I got off early on a Friday afternoon and decided to drive by to see if the business was open. I was pleased to see the lights were on and the pharmacy open. Apopka Care Pharmacy shares a parking lot with other businesses so parking may be a bit challenging. I entered and waited in line has a customer was at the counter being tended to. The staff were attentive to the customer and engaged in friendly banter. When it was my turn, I approached the counter and explained the reason I was there. I was able to return the items without any issues.
