So not only does New vision teach information that is blatantly wrong, for example where certain bones are in the body, they allow kids to get injured on the playground and don't notify the parents. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this school they make promises that they've never been able to keep, they teach kids information that is wrong, and they don't care about the safety of the kids.

They immediately said New Vision Charter School was the best in town. After having our students attend the school since 2017, I could not be happier with it. The administration, teachers and facilities are top notch. Our kids are thriving both academically and socially. The admin and teachers do have high expectations compared to other schools so if a student doesn't want to put in the work, they may struggle and his/her parents may complain. My oldest son is now in high school and he has mentioned several times how well prepared he is for school because of his previous experience at NVCS. Our family feels blessed to be part of Nighthawk Nation.

It appears that majority of coaches at Mountain View are half a**ing their job. The hallways had a strong smell of weed as well. absolutely horrible at solving issues very contradictory on their own words, my brother had gotten…read moresuspended today for poking a box with a "weapon" (ie; popsicle stick with tape) another student GAVE to him the student MADE IT also , told the office the kid who made it and school did nothing for the other kid. ironically a few days ago my brother was stabbed with a pencil by another kid, he had went to the office about it with what had happened, all kid got was a call home. a CALL HOME. my brother who did not stab a person or threaten a person got SUSPENDED. while the kid got a call home. now... if the school takes weapons and violence as serious as they say they do something more should've been done period. also their way of solving issues with students is forcing them to work together.... with a student who is BIGGER and more aggressive... now you tell me how that will play out and you tell me if you want your kids put in a uncomfortable awkward place like that.

But as the years went bye I have come to really adore fossil. I also did swim on the guys swim team all four years, and that really helped me make friends. But I'm also happy I had a lot of non swimming friends the same. People seem to get along pretty well at fossil. I'll miss it for sure.

The staff is the best ever- loving, kind, and cares about the students' well-being.
