The Core Knowledge curriculum has really exposed them to a lot of content on world history, art, music, and literature that I don't think they would have learned at a typical elementary/middle school. We love the Spanish instruction starting in Kindergarten, the technology classes, and the strong focus on literacy and math. My oldest son was well prepared for high school, posting a 3.9 GPA in mostly pre-AP classes. We also like the smaller school environment. You really do feel like part of a family where most of the teachers, parents, and other students know and support your kids. There are many ways that I can volunteer to improve the school and enhance my kids' experience. Overall, NVCS has been an amazing place for my kids to grow their character, social skills and commitment to their community. I always recommend NVCS to friends with elementary and middle school aged children!

This is negligence and this is dangerous to kids. So not only does New vision teach information that is blatantly wrong, for example where certain bones are in the body, they allow kids to get injured on the playground and don't notify the parents. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this school they make promises that they've never been able to keep, they teach kids information that is wrong, and they don't care about the safety of the kids.

But as the years went bye I have come to really adore fossil. I also did swim on the guys swim team all four years, and that really helped me make friends. The director Dac Cederberg has incredible talent and is on par with other well-known directors such as Harold Prince. Musical director Stacy Miller really killed it and each song was beautiful and very well performed. A lot of the success of the musical can be chalked up to all the talent in the cast, pit orchestra, and techs. Emma Reiger and Abigail Ferguson were perfectly cast for their roles of Katherine Blake and Ellie Blake respectively. Their singing was like something out of American Idol and the acting worthy of an oscar. Ryne Haldeman's choreography was also stunning. From a technical standpoint, you have to give a huge hand to Technical Director Robert Stahly and the other techs. The lighting by Heidi Hansen was beautiful and provocative. The sound designed by Blaze Smith was utterly astounding. The music choices for intermission were inspiring. A few mistakes were made by a tech in sound but were not very noticeable and did not ruin the overall enjoyment. As a final word, I would like to say that the price of $12 an adult for a broadway caliber production is definitely worth it.
