We get the attention of a sales associate, and right away the guy seemed a good guy. We initially told him we were not looking for a car but the story behind the dealership and their crown brand. The salesman answered all our questions, and led us to a guy to get us some more information. Not once did he seem inconvenienced or rushed to get these non car buyers out the door. The character of a man is showed how he treats the 'lesser' man, if/when we get another car while in Manitoba. You can bet that I'm going there!

I needed a replacement key, and they told me it was a drop off service visit that would take two hours. When it was finally done they charged 3 hours for labor plus shop supplies. Then they only made the key work for opening the doors! Finally, they charged a "shop fee" even though the car was never in the shop. However, I was disappointed to receive a report that simply reiterated the problem I had already mentioned regarding the brake sensor, which was confirmed to be functioning incorrectly. What concerns me even more is the fact that my request for a throttle body relearn, which I had clearly emphasized, was disregarded. To make matters worse, I was subsequently asked to pay an additional fee for this service. This situation contradicts my previous service encounters, where the service manager performed the throttle body relearn as part of the diagnostic procedure since the car was already connected to a computer. Consequently, I ended up paying $202.95 without any resolution or improvement to the issue at hand, and to my surprise, I was asked to pay 200 C$ extra to relearn the throttle body that I expected to be included. That didn't upset me as much as the multiple promises my car would be ready the following day. After over a week of promises, I'm told it's ready to be picked up. I tell them I can only come the following morning. I arrived that morning before work, when I walk out, I see my tire is flat. I go in to tell them and they tell me it's possible it needs to be repaired. When I tell them I'm not paying for that as it was flat when the car was brought to them, they tell me they'll see what I can do. This obviously made me very late for work. So after being over a month without a car for minor damage, being promised a working vehicle multiple times and then when it's "ready" having to have a last minute repair, and being late for work, I think I will bring my business elsewhere in the future

I got in touch with Dennis (the above-mentioned), and he took on the job from there. I think I got more phone calls from Dennis than from my own boyfriend during the four days the truck was in the shop. He literally updated me every single day on the status of the repairs, and kept in contact to get approval for purchasing parts and whatnot. He was SUCH a pleasant person to deal with during all of this, I honestly can't remember the last time I had such a comprehensive customer service experience I have also come to Murray Chev to pick up rental vehicles for work and have had nothing but good experiences in that department. TP Took our Malibu to Murray Chev Olds on Waverly for an oil…read morechange and their Multi Point Vehicle Inspection Package / MPVI Vehicle Health Check last summer. When I picked up the car I noticed absolutely no hand prints anywhere in the dirty motor well and wondered if they really checked anything. Sure enough six months later my battery was completely dead (would not take a charge) and had to be replaced....even though on the Certificate it checked the battery as: CHECKED AND O.K.. Last week I took the car to a different garage to get a BRAKE JOB (based on what I assumed was needed because of Murray's pad measurements of last summer). They checked the pads and they all measured at 8mm. STRANGE because on Murray's MPVI certificate of June 2025 they were all measured at 6mm. I actually saw the pads and measurements this time. My brake pads either GREW by 2mm or somebody did a sloppy job or just LIED to me on the certificate. I asked for the MPVI to confirm my vehicle was in good shape, obviously that was a waste of $ 100.00. I have lost confidence with Murray's and will never do business with them again.
