They have a small lounge area, but the seating is comfortable and there is a tiny fireplace, nice to have on a cold rainy day, I was almost disappointed they finished with the car so quickly! They said that was partly because it was in such good shape that there wasn't a lot to investigate, so very good news. The other thing I noticed was that I was treated with respect and given a rundown of the results. This has not always been my experience as an older female at other places. I had a very loud sound in my car and I'd had it for about a month. It was getting worse, I thought it was maybe something wrong with the head gasket or exhaust or something. I brought it in and they diagnosed it as a problem with my heat, shield and corrected it for basically the cost of the $45 inspection fee. While I was there, I decided to get other things done. I got a full synthetic oil change. I got a coolant flush And fill, I got a replaced engine oil, pressure switch, and replaced headlight bulb. The way they do estimates and pricing is very transparent and there's not really any pressure at all to get unneeded services. The full synthetic oil changed for example, was actually cheaper than every other place. I've gotten that done by about $12. They were incredibly customer service oriented. They offered to send me home in a rideshare vehicle and pick me up later, but I decided to work in their lounge area and just use their Wi-Fi, which worked great. The repairs were done pretty quickly for all that they were doing, and I was surprised at the end that my car was washed because they hadn't even mentioned that shop manager guy Darius even offered to get me a Diet Coke when he was out and about and I just was very impressed with the vibe of the whole place there technical expertise and Customer service. I was very impressed with the place as a whole and will definitely be back. The cats are an awesome addition and are obviously well taken care of as well.

They kept it for about a month and recommended replacing the spark plugs, coils, and several other parts. After roughly $2,500 in charges, they told me there was nothing they could do to fix it and that I should take it to VW. I took it to the VW dealership. They replaced the spark plugs and the battery for about $1,500, and the vehicle has run fine since. I then went back to TurboTim's to give them a fair chance to make things right, since I had paid them a significant amount and none of my issues had been resolved. They gave me the cold shoulder. They told me that because I had taken the car to VW, any warranty on their work was void, said they wanted nothing to do with me, and asked me to leave the property. I understand that some problems are hard to diagnose, but charging a customer thousands of dollars, keeping the car for a month, not fixing the problem, and then refusing even to talk about it is not how a repair shop should treat people. I would not recommend TurboTim's to anyone, especially VW owners.

I appreciate their honesty and the fact that they don't call me "sweetheart" when I walk in the door. I appreciate their recommendations like "If you're just driving around town, this will be fine, but if you're traveling out of state, you need this fixed," and "We could fix this now but it won't negatively affect your brakes and it would cost you a lot of money. Otherwise, we could fix it when you get your brakes replaced and you'll save on labor." (Paraphrased, but these are real things they've said that have been helpful.)
