I'm glad I'm reviewing this great business as my 500th review. Fred's Junk Removal is exceptional!…read more I did a simple search online and found Fred and his website. I just needed to get rid off an old guest mattress. Fred's website was extremely easy to use to book my appointment. I chose a date, time, and left my mattress off to the side in the driveway. You have the option of taking a photo of the item(s) you are planning to get rid of. The day of the appointment, I messaged Fred to ask him if he needed me to be awake for the pickup. I had just worked a 12 hour shift the previous night and was exhausted. He replied very quickly to my text. He was prompt in his reply, friendly and he assured me he would take care of it and be as quiet as possible. I thanked him and arranged payment. You can pay by credit card, Venmo or cash... multiple methods of payment is so convenient. I Venmo'd him my payment and went to sleep. When I woke up later in the afternoon, the mattress was gone just like he assured me it would be. I never even knew he was here (my room is near the front of my house). I will definitely use Fred is the future if I need any hauling done. I will also recommend him whenever I know anyone in need of hauling / junk removal. Thanks again Fred! 5 / 5: Ease of Booking / Navigating Website 5 / 5: Service and Value 5 / 5: Convenience of Payment Methods 5 / 5: Overall

He and Richard were both wonderful in terms of communicating when they would be arriving, confirming what they needed to take and what to leave, and were very professional and efficient overall. *COULD* i have done all that myself? Rent a truck, pack up my crap, take it to multiple locations to get rid of all of it - on top of even just figuring out what the hell to do with all of it? Maybe, maybe not - but the amount of stress they took off my plate was so so SO worth the price, especially when they made the entire process, from booking to service to payment, so easy and convenient. I'll definitely use them again the next time i inevitably build up a new pile of junk for me to stress over

We first started using Junk King about a year ago after hearing wonderful things from friends and neighbors. That's when we had the pleasure of meeting Roland and his team, who helped clear out years of junk left behind by the previous owners. From there, Roland became part of our remodel journey--always showing up with a smile, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help. Honestly, I've caught myself wishing he worked for me full-time! Fast forward to today, we recently hosted a big family gathering in our newly finished home. With all the extra trash bags afterwards, we made one quick call--and within hours Roland and the Junk King team had everything cleared away. Absolute lifesavers! Thank you, Roland and our Junk King Angels, for making such a difference in our home and our lives. We are so grateful!

Victor Jr. worked with me to price the project based on pictures. (If you haven't used a junk removal service before, they prefer to come in person to give you a quote and take things right away. But you can request a quote based on pictures so that you get multiple offers.) The price was competitive, and though it was just a tiny bit more than the lowest price, the good customer service helped me trust him. When they arrived, Victor and his coworker introduced themselves to my mom and got to work. They finished in 15 minutes. Then, they took the extra step of sending me a text that the job was finished and sent me a picture of the truck of junk when I asked. Yelp messaged 5 business, 3 got back to me that day. Although Victor's quote was a bit higher than the others, we ultimately chose him because he had the most reviews and positive feedback. One of the reviews mentioned how he supported a kids lemonade stand and that won me over as well. Acosta offers military and first time customer discount. Victor initially told me that three people would be coming to work on our project. When his other team members finished a job nearby, he called them over, so there ended up being six workers total. They worked quickly and efficiently and made a big difference in getting everything cleared out. What really stood out was that they didn't just remove the junk -- they also swept and cleaned the area afterward, which we really appreciated. Overall, we were very happy with their work and professionalism. Because of the great experience, we decided to book them again for landscaping. I saw on several of his business photos before and after pictures of landscaping work. I asked if he could recommend a move out cleaning and will be working with the workers he suggested. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a responsive and hardworking junk removal team.

I had a couple basic questions about pricing and availability and she made me feel like I was wasting her time. Short answers, no patience, zero friendliness. I wasn't asking anything complicated, just trying to figure out if this was the right company for the job. It wasn't. Or at least this interaction made that pretty clear. I get that people have bad days but when your the first point of contact for a business, how you treat potential customers matters. I hung up feeling genuinely put off and went with a different company instead, which ended up being a completely smooth experience. Maybe others have had great experiences here and I hope thats the case. But I can only speak to mine and mine was not good. Rude customer service from the jump is enough for me to look elsewhere.
