I was able to find everything on my list this time (including the battery not in the larger store). I was very happy to see so many registers open (no self-checkout) and the line moved quickly. Just because Lake Talquin General store is not the cleanest and has limited parking which partially blocks fuel pumps, that doesn't make them a 1 or 2 star experience. They are convenient, do not gouge on prices and the staff always friendly. That says a lot. Oh and they have hot fresh made pizzas with call ahead ordering!
