I have always been welcomed in by someone as soon as I walked into the door. I've been here on numerous occasions and never once have I felt ignored like the previous review. Maybe that review was a personal attack? Just seems very strange to have the exact opposite response. I came back recently and asked about a jacket I wanted to buy. The owner (in which I didn't know he was the owner) stated he would be happy to assist me. He took the time to go to the back and see if there was a jacket I could try on for comparison. After trying it on, I requested him to order a smaller size. He stated he would do that asap and would let me know when it arrived or he would be willing to bring it to Thomasville. Hello, that's top notch customer service because I don't go to Moultrie often. Anyways, I called a few days ago and it was in fact in transit to the store! I appreciate the friendly faces and the tip notch care and consideration they provide.

Steve (the owner) ordered tuxes for my husband and his groomsmen for our wedding day. When my husband's jacket didn't fit quite right, Steve went home, grabbed his own PERSONAL tux jacket, and brought it back to where we were having the ceremony. It fit like a glove and was a crisis averted! You just can't really top that kind of service!

UGGHHHH!! . When in…read morea small town, the shopping options are limited. However, I chose Belk because I thought that they might have a better selection of clothing than the other local stores. I was specifically looking for some cute tops in lighter fabrics. However, Belk has always had a poor record when it comes their "women's" clothing options. Everything appears to be shaped like a tent, splashed with a garish graphic print and constructed of cheap materials. I really think that some of their designers are just a room full of grandmas who sew clothing when they run out of quilting materials. Their dressing room was absolutely disgusting with clothing left in the rooms and floors desperately needing to be cleaned. If they would simply place a return rack outside of the dressing room, customers would place their unwanted clothing on the racks instead of leaving them in the dressing room. They set the tone for their unkempt dressing room and messy department. Overall their ladies clothing departments were very crowded with too many racks stuffed with clothing that needed to be better sorted and organized. I found it difficult to freely browse because of all the clutter. Instead of clearing away what they already had, they were actually adding more to the mess. After striking out with the clothing, I decided to check out their shoes but this too was frustrating because they don't carry many quality brands and what they had on display was just not of interest to me. I can say with confidence that today was my last visit to any Belk, anywhere!

They are definitely practicing social distancing. They are counting people entering and exits the doors. All employees are wearing masks. The check out counters and credit card machine are wiped clean after each customer. There is hand sanitizer located at the entrance on a table and at all check out counters. The employees are very kind at Belk. Seems I saw a lot of new faces when I walked in. I've been familiar with their employees for many years. I hope the long-term employees are still there. The best thing I like about Belk are the online sales. Download their app and get the latest emails on their sales through your email. You'll miss a lot of money saving coupons if you don't. Also when you use your Belk card you easily earn Belk Bucks to spend online or on the store. Please remember that if the store doesn't have the size you need, just ask an associate to check other stores and the store will mail it to you at no cost. The associate will check online inventory and then verify by calling the store. By the way, they discontinued a lot of Polo items; however, they are online and at terrific prices. This is what small town Thomasville has to offer, so they do their best in these trying times of online sales versus brick & mortar.

This is the beginning of something wonderful. For example. Write this name down: Leslie Noyes. She is an author whose seventh book just went live on Amazon. She's a long drink of water from Texas. And though she's been in Tallahassee for over ten years now, when she opens her delightfully funny mouth to speak, out tumbles west Texas. She's a grandmother who is in a motorcycle gang [okay, group] and belongs to a water aerobics group called the Clownfish Asylum. She has said that her difficulty in remembering names is so bad that she makes her husband wear a name tag. More than ten million Kindle pages of her books have been read. She is one of a kind. Also one-of-a-kind is the just-opened-in-November new store on the courthouse square in Quincy just next door to the Gadsden Art Center. It is The White Rabbit Market. And when one-of-a-kind meets one-of-a-kind sparks fly! Inaugurating what promises to be exceptional, Leslie gave a look inside how her series of books [ Mayhem, Wedding, Reunion, Christmas, Second Chances, and Greed ] at The Happy Valley Motor Inn and Resort took shape in her brain and on her computer. The White Rabbit pulled out all the stops for their first local author. There was tea in antique porcelain teapots, cups and saucers. Pinkies were extended. Pastries and cookies trounced our diets. To a hushed crowd that laughed and cried with her, she read short selections from her books and autographed copies. More local authors are to follow. All of Leslie's books are available at The White Rabbit, Amazon, and Kindle. www.LeslieNoyesBooks.com; or visit her blog, Praying for Eyebrowz at www.nananoyz5forme.com; Leslie Noyes, Author, Facebook Quincy is emerging from its cocoon.
