After our World System Builder meeting in Destin, I stayed at the Hilton Hotels & Resorts. After dinner at Holi Indian Restaurant, we stopped to pick up some fruit and drinks before heading back to the room. The young ladies working at the register were incredibly kind, welcoming, and pleasant. As I was leaving, I asked if they had a couple of plastic forks, knives, and spoons. Not only did they happily bring them, but they thoughtfully added salt and pepper packets as well. Later in my room, as I was getting ready to enjoy my cucumbers, avocados, and oranges , I noticed the extra care they had taken. Such a small gesture, but it genuinely made my evening. In today's busy world, it's the little acts of kindness and thoughtfulness that leave a lasting impression. Their warm attitude and attention to detail were so appreciated that I ended up shopping there multiple times during my three-day stay. Decent grocery store! Reminds me of a Publix, but not quiiiiite up to snuff as far as layout and clean modern feel. Decent prices though! Don't love the way they do their clearance tags, lots of them arn't really clear on what the normal price is. I'd like more clear Clearance end caps and clearance sections and stickers easy to read. Great grocery to shop for everything we needed at the condo in Miramar Beach. We shopped on Monday picked up a few items. We had no clue there would be a historic snowfall that would shut down entire area of Destin with most amount of snowfall since 1895! Lesson learned when they reopened 2 days later. We stocked up on everything, we had purchased extra large shrimp from meat department. We cooked that night for dinner it was superb! Thx Winn-Dixie for finally opening your doors. It's sad Aldi has bought you out as they do not have fresh extra large shrimp! You'll be missed on our next visit. read more

This location is very close to where we stay in Miramar Beach. They have an overall good selection of drinks and convince foods for the average vacationer. The parking is easy and the store is easy to navigate if you have mobility issues. In the last 2 years we have had issues with finding folks at the service desk. This location has a bar, I have not tried that, but any bar at the beach is a good thing! And drinking in a grocery store seems like it will ease the sticker shock when you check out. Visited the Winn-Dixie in Lake Mary, FL (211 Wheelhouse Lane, Lake Mary, FL 32746) and suffered poor service and was sold bad hamburger meat. The cashier didn't greet me (didn't say anything). I had to guess when it was time to slide my card into the reader to pay. The cashier bagged my groceries and left the bags on the counter. She started ringing up the next customer. I put my bags in my basket and left. When I got home and opened the hamburger meat I bought from the butcher section of the store, it was red on the outside, but dark grey inside. I will not buy from that store again. read more

The best Winn-Dixie, clean organized and all together. We went late to get breakfast food for the next morning so we didnt get the best service, just dry hi's and rolled eyes-lol. store is pretty good but the steaks are so tough a dog couldn't chew it. I have never in my entire life has strip steaks (good flavor) that were light chewing rawhide. I even bought them on two different occasions to make sure it wasn't a fluke. it'sa large, clean store but the weekend specials they often run in steep steaks should be avoided. soo horrible I won't bu buy man meat here read more

It was 9:30 we were trying to get some groceries. As we walk to the door the worker sprints to the door and locks it before we get to it. Why ? Why are we doing all this. The store itself is clean and has most anything you would need. The layout is a bit confusing though so it takes time to hunt down all of your list. The low rating is for the cashiers at this location. I have been multiple times since moving to the area and they are always either rude or just completely uninterested in guest interaction unless you directly approach them- and if you do, they are clearly annoyed. read more

The store is super clean and well staffed. The prices were higher than anticipated as this is mostly a tourist town. If you join some club you save money on most products but nothing really explained the program. The check out was quick but not what you could call friendly. We wanted fruits but settled for tangerines as the cost was so high on most. Coconuts were not sold or not in season, which we thought would be prevalent in Florida. Deli meats and cheese prices are double what we pay at our local grocery. Laundry detergent was only slightly higher. This is a busy location as we went multiple times and there was always a lot of customers. read more

Went to the liquor store looking to buy enough beer to serve 80 people at a wedding rehearsal- not a great selection, and couldn't get any help finding what we needed. Prices and selection are fair but unhelpful staff make it difficult to get what we need for a large event. read more

I've always liked this Winn Dixie. Fresh produce, meat, wide selection of products. Its a great grocery store truthfully, chock full of great customer service. The only con? No matter what route you take, its hard to get to and always takes forever.. super inconvenient though not entirely their fault. read more

Looks like dammit on the outside, but it's clean and has everything you could possibly want on the inside. Huge selection of wine and beer as well as many options of store-made meals you take home and heat. Very tasty and a fantastic way to enjoy beach food without overspending. read more

Those are days of the past but they still have beloved Bogo. Granted, the prices are a bit higher than where we come from but I suppose that is to be expected in a touristy place. If I could I would give this place a zero star. As a local I expect better service than what I received today. Checked out and then needed something from the customer service desk. Associates just kept looking at us and even the manager looked me in my eyes turned around and walked away. After several people got behind us in the line we were told no one would help us customer service is closed. We were then told to go to liquor store if we needed lotto. From now on I will pay the higher prices and go to Publix who gives better customer service. read more

We don't have Winn Dixie in Houston. We came to this location to buy our groceries for the week. We are staying in a timeshare. The store seemed relatively new and clean. They had a large produce department with plenty of fresh veggies. Also a wide assortment of various junk foods that people have the tendency to eat while on vacation. NOTE: Sale prices are only good with a WD card. They do have a "guest" card at the register that you can use to get the sale prices at checkout. read more

I'm a publix fan but when visiting Miramar Beach this is my go to grocery store. They have a liquor store next door as well. Very clean grocery store, lots of variety in selecting organic. Great produce and cheese area as well. I've never had an issue here with any of the staff, everyone is very helpful and seem to really enjoy their job. Lots of great deals so if you don't have a rewards/discount card just ask them for one and they will sign you up. read more

I never write reviews but today I was in checkout 3 and met Heather. She started off by saying Welcome come on down did you find everything okay, she my kids laugh which is great because all they did was fight in there. I didnt have a card so she offered to use the store card and then the price went way down!!!!! I've met nice cashiers but Heather is amazing and needs a raise! She made my entire family feel welcomed after a 11 hour drive down to Florida. She also gave us flyer and told us look through the specials so if we wanted to cook while we were here we didnt have to spend all of our money! This my favorite Winn Dixie in the area. Always a great group of people on each visit. They manage to keep a smile on their faces and help as much as possible. The deli food is amazing to include a nice wine supply. The only draw back is the amount of stingy thieving snowbirds who flock there and walk around aimlessly. read more

Found Winn-Dixie after doing all my shopping for the week. But ended up at Winn-Dixie for all the thing that we missed. The location is super clean and convenient located less than 5 minutes from Seascape Resorts. I really like this store! The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a great deli, produce, cheese, hot food bar and beverage section. They have a separate Liquor store attached to this store also. The price are along the lines of being reasonable, I'm sure there is some mark up for its location. The shelves seemed well stocked also, each time I visited. Just wish this would have been my first stop for our vacation shopping instead of Walmart. My experience is based on a trip from August 13-20, not sure what it would be like during peak season. But I'm thinking it would be about the same. Just like most stores now you have to get a shoppers reward card to get the best prices. Also they have a great selection of meats, seafood and fresh lobster. read more

Just arrived in Miramar Beach for a month (rental). Could walk to the,bis store, but couldn't carry home all we bought. OMG, all the specials, BOGO's, and specials/clearance on meats. Butcher was extremely helpful, checkout staff very cordial. Bought King Crab Legs for $15/lb, $2.99 lb. What a deal! The store is not huge, did not have everything I was looking for, however, considering the traffic congestion in the area, I was more than pleased to have this store so close with great buys. Ended up buying a lot more than my shopping list. read more
