    Skippers Dock and Steam Machine

Looking for good seafood while visiting the area and stumbled upon this place. We're so glad we…read moredid! This location is right next to the gas station with outdoor patio seating only. The patio is cute, offering 2 picnic tables & chairs circling fire pits/grills. You order inside at the counter and can take the food to-go or eat on the patio. The cashier helped us decide on ordering fried shrimp, fried fish, steamed shrimp, and potatoes/corn. As soon as we got our order and started eating, we knew that we had to order to more because the seafood was delicious and fresh. The steamed ruby red shrimp were the best! The owner was so hospitable -- he offered us smoked tuna dip & crackers, sodas, s'mores, and key lime pie for free (all delicious btw)! The food here is absolutely amazing and the service is top notch.

Was headed to Jackacudas for dinner but it ended up being closed (who ended up giving us a coupon…read morefor a free app since they were closed which was very kind of them). We looked up nearby places and went to Skippers. It is located in a gas station parking lot and the seating is only outdoor, but please do not let it dissuade you. This place was the most incredible service and restaurant I've been to in a while! The ambiance is quite nice with the string lights and all of the fires that are there. We were planning on taking everything to go and eating at home, but opted to stay and glad we did. We walked in and were a bit overwhelmed, but the service was so incredible and helped us through our order. We got fried shrimp, steamed shrimp, fried fish and corn and potatoes. As we were waiting for our food, Chet (the owner I presume) came out and greeted us and was so welcoming! We talked for a bit and he returned with some smoked fish dip which was so tasty we finished the container in minutes. They brought out our food and it was so good we went back and ordered a bit more and stayed there to eat it. The shrimp and fish were so fresh and there was plenty of corn and potatoes from our order. After we finished, Chet came out and handed us some key lime pie. I don't typically like key lime pie, but it wasn't too tart like most I had and was so enjoyable I would highly recommend trying it. All in all, this place was my must try / would return to restaurant beating anything else I tried in the area by far. This is a must stop and I'm so glad I came here!

I enjoyed this place lots. Large selection of spices, teas,…read moreand dip starters, all with directions for use. Took some time to zero in on a handful of products that taught my attention, or should I say my sense of smell. There's larger jars of most blends that you can smell and get a better sense of the flavors. Whata great idea. You could spend a good part of your day checking them all out and deciding. The All Purpose Brine Seasoning I used on my Thanksgiving turkey. It was great! I have tried the Coconut Oblong tea so far, and it tastes great, though I would be happy just smelling it. The aroma is awesome. I look forward to trying the others I purchased. It's a great place to pick out some gifts, there are many decorative bottles and jars you could fill with your favorites or their's. I'd love it !!! Big thank you to Jordan, great help. He also explained their rewards program. Go and check this place out, leave time to stop and sniff....

Lots of different smells but it's not too overwhelming! We had some drinks during our visit as well! We had the Mocha Mushroom iced drink, it was really good! However If you're not used to black tea or black coffee, stuff like that it's probably not for you since it is on the bitter side. However if you need it any sweeter, Jordan is really sweet about adjusting the sugar level for you! We also had a blend of the Dragon Fruit specials that were offered, very fruity and honestly really refreshing! Although we didn't get any, there are custom blends they offer which is good to keep in mind if there's any allergies you're worried about!
