Our favorite chicken salads were Fancy Nancy (grapes, pecans, and apples), Fruity Fran (grapes, apples, and pineapple), and Dixie Chick (minced onion). You can sample them before ordering, which is great considering the wide and unique variety offered. We found the scoops best for really tasting the flavor profile of the chicken salad. Meals come with as many wheat club crackers as you need, a pickle, and a small frosted sugar cookie. Our favorite side dish was the grape salad. Coated in a creamy dairy dressing and topped with brown sugar and crushed pecans, the grape salad is an amazing dessert or sweet accompaniment. There is plenty of indoor seating, some outdoor seating, restrooms, open parking, and friendly staff at the Lady Lake/The Villages location. A must-try Southern chain for those who enjoy chicken salad.

Emmy checked on us often, I named her "The Goodwill Ambassador" of Mission BBQ. She was an absolute delight. I went wayyyyyy off my mark by getting the smoked cheeseburger. I normally would never order a burger at a BBQ place. I was NOT disappointed! It was delicious!!! So smoky, and juicy! It was a 6oz burger with lots of cheddar cheese, and lots of veggies, I couldn't finish it in one sitting. I also got the coleslaw, which I loved. My hubby got the 5pc ribs, baked beans, cornbread, and Mac n cheese. He loved everything! Of course I had to try all of his, and it was indeed all excellent. His ribs were so juicy you could actually see the juices dripping when he tore them apart. He tried every sauce they had too! lol We had an all around excellent meal, and a warm, inviting, and nostalgic experience. My husband and I both come from military families. Both of our grandads served in WW2, and Dads served in Korea and Vietnam. We were actually asked about donating pictures of our dads and grandads for their walls to be displayed. I actually got a little choked up. We have found our BBQ spot. God bless these folks.
