Great spot for chicken salad lovers! There are a variety of sweet, savory, and spicy chicken salads. Our favorite chicken salads were Fancy Nancy (grapes, pecans, and apples), Fruity Fran (grapes, apples, and pineapple), and Dixie Chick (minced onion). You can sample them before ordering, which is great considering the wide and unique variety offered. We found the scoops best for really tasting the flavor profile of the chicken salad. Meals come with as many wheat club crackers as you need, a pickle, and a small frosted sugar cookie. Our favorite side dish was the grape salad. Coated in a creamy dairy dressing and topped with brown sugar and crushed pecans, the grape salad is an amazing dessert or sweet accompaniment. There is plenty of indoor seating, some outdoor seating, restrooms, open parking, and friendly staff at the Lady Lake/The Villages location. A must-try Southern chain for those who enjoy chicken salad. read more

My first here after hearing great things. I finally stoped by and I am not hooked. It's a quick service place. So you order at a counter then find a seat and they bring your food out. The chicken salad is incredible and the white bread was some of the best sandwich bread. I kept saying how good it is. I will be back again and again read more

Had a quick lunch while visiting my mom. They have a variety of chicken salad options to include savory and spicy. This was the best chicken salad EVER! I opted for the 2 scoop and 1 side meal. I chose the classic for 1 scoop and bacon ranch for my second scoop, plus the loaded baked potato cup of soup. The service was quick and friendly and the dining room was packed! It was also customer appreciation day so we got a free scoop of Classic to take home. read more

What sweet people behind the counter!!!! So let me just say: I wandered into Chicken Salad Chick on a whim, and now I'm clucking hooked! This place is basically my new lunchtime happy spot. Picture this: a whole menu of chicken salad dreams, each one sassier and tastier than the last. I'm talking flavors I didn't even know I needed in my life until they landed right in front of me. The best part? The people here are as sweet as their grape salad and as courteous as can be. The whole place is spotless, the prices are kind to your wallet, and honestly, I'm dragging all my friends here because everyone deserves a taste. In conclusion: Chicken Salad Chick, you're egg-sactly what I've been looking for. Five stars, a sassy salute, and see you again real soon! read more

I went to Chicken Salad Chick expecting a great sandwich and was very underwhelmed. I got the Chicken Salad melt with the Cranberry Kelli and there was maybe one scoop with one piece of cranberry for the entire sandwich. Flavor was definitely lacking and I am not sure how the cheese melted as it came cool like it was melted on and then sat and cooled off. read more

We went there for the first time to try it. We like chicken salad, but this was tasteless, dry and just plain bland. It lacked salt and was sooo dry and lacking mayonnaise. Plus the chicken salad only covered maybe 2/3rds of the croissant so lots of bites were meatless! The price was too high especially for the taste, I had to salt my sandwich a couple of times just to be able to eat it. My husband got some peach tea & looked at me and said "that taste terrible!" He couldn't drink it cause it tasted so bad. The clerk at the counter was sweet and kind. The restaurant was clean but rather cold. I'm sorry to say, that we will not be visiting again. read more

Came here for an early dinner (light food) and ordered the trio scoops meal with crackers to eat on the outside area of the sidewalk. Our server delivered the basket of food with a side pickle and cookie added in and three generous scoops of their many choices of various chicken salad. We asked for additional crackers and another fork and those item were brought out immediately. It was all good and we left after consuming the basket that was shared by my wife and I. A good place for an appetizer snack before dinner later in the evening. read more

Fast casual restaurant serving several varieties of chicken salad and egg salad as a sandwich or as a scoop on lettuce They also serve soups, salads, and dessert (cookies and cake). There's also a to go fridge with ready made varieties of chicken salads and pimento cheeses. Tried the pimento, it was good but consisted more of grated cheese than any other ingredient. Would make for a good grilled cheese. I ordered the sandwich/soup combo, I tried the original chicken salad on a croissant with a side of poblano soup. It also included a small frosted sugar cookie, which is a nice touch. The chicken salad is tasty, not your ordinary chicken salad. Poblano soup was delicious, cream based with pies of chicken mixed in. The $9.99 combo is a pretty good value. Would be nice if there was more chicken salad in the sandwich since the croissant was large but for $9.99 it was good enough. The combo does not include a drink which was an extra $2.79 for a medium refillable fountain drink. read more

If you come to the villages you've got to try this place. The chicken salad is so delicious and unique - and any way you want. The sugar cookie that comes with every meal is so delicious-and you can start with desert! A little pricey but who can resist the Waldorf - with grapes and walnuts. The portions of chicken are measured with a large ice cream scooper. Four stars bc the price to me is a little read more

I want to buy chicken salad by the pound. They said they were out of salad. However, they would sell it by the scoop or in a sandwich. If you are out then you are out and can't sell it by the scoop. read more

Delicious. Very nice staff. Nice and quick service. Good choices! Delicious cookies for dessert.

This use to be my favorite go to lunch place but the last two times very disappointing. I ordered two chicken salad croissant sandwiches. The croissant was more like a roll, and they were not fresh. Each sandwich has one slice of thinly sliced tomato for the whole sandwich, and very small amount of chicken salad. read more

We have been wanting to try CSC and today, the opportunity presented itself. This gets an OMG^2!!! I ordered the Olivia's Old South on croissant with the pasta salad as a side. Absolutely no complaints about the food taste or quality plus amazing service! What makes it so extra (in a good way) is the little cookie and pickle they give you on the side. It's the little touches that makes CSC stand above the rest. We will definitely be back, we will bring all our friends and family, and be sure to come check it out for yourself! read more

I was amazed at the many creations of recipe chicken salad flavors. The service was prompt, you order at the register and they bring the food to the table. The restaurant it self was clean and homie. I will be repeating this establishment and I recommend. read more

It's a pretty simple concept - many varieties of chicken salad and a few yummy sides from which to choose. They do it well and the people are nice. They also have clearly listed ingredients and can let you know things like what may be gluten and/or dairy free. It's not the cheapest, but it's consistent, fresh, and tasty. I can't speak to service because I haven't eaten there. I like it as takeout because the atmosphere is kind of cafeteria-like. read more

Busy sandwich and soup shop in the heart of the villages that features, you guessed it, chicken salad. The food is good, and portions are fine. Just that I was underwhelmed with the flavors. The cranberry chicken salad taste just like any of the other combo's they offer. Good place for a quick clean sandwich, but they should season each menu item so it's more distinguishable from each other. read more

What a brilliant idea! This is a southern chain that we don't have up north. The concept is different types of chicken salad but now they also have egg salad and pimento cheese. Went for the 3-way combo and added the broccoli salad. Nice options for sides. We tried the fruity chicken salad with grapes and nuts, the bbq chicken salad-very creative and good, plus the egg salad-creamy and tasty. Cane with wheat crackers and a dill pickle. They also give you a sugar cookie with icing. Thought I wouldn't like it but it was pretty good! They do taste testing outside the restaurant every day! They also have some of the salads packaged for take out. Very yummy. Wish we had one close by! read more

We could not believe a staff member (old lady) at Chicken Salad Chick was trying to steal customers from Darrell's Diner. We were eating outside on the patio area at Darrell's Diner, our favorite place - when the old lady from Chicken Salad Chick came over to us and handed us samples of their chicken salad. We were shocked, but fortunately the waitress told the old lady she couldn't do that - and the old lady argued that Darrell's Diner didn't have chicken salad, which is false! Darrell's Diner does have chicken salad and their chicken salad is so much better and cheaper than Chicken Salad Chick. Regardless, Chicken Salad Chick has no respect for other restaurants and blatantly tried to steal customers. Chicken Salad Chick proved their greed, lack of respect, unprofessionalism, and no ethics or integrity at all. We will NEVER eat at Chicken Salad Chick!!! read more

What a wonderful spot for lunch or whatever. I was stuck in the Villages on work and saw them from somewhere and ended up here just because. Easily enough, the World needs more places like this. Love the fun, quirky vibe and solid chicken salad sammy. Did the Fancy Nancy which is sort of like a Waldorf and was lovely. Prices are right. Portions are right. Everything was thoroughly wonderful ...including the service and hospitality. Well done, Chick of the Villages. Well done. read more

Every time I've been to this restaurant it's been busy. They seem to handle the business well. Delicious products, so fresh and I do love their grape salad...(red & white seedless grapes covered in a sweet cream cheese mixture, topped with brown sugar & crushed pecans). It's worth trying. So far I think my fav chicken salad is Cranberry Kelli with sweetened cranberries, & slivered almonds. A very nice change from subs, bbq or burgers. read more

The croissant was not fresh, they added to my sandwich without asking (put bacon on it), no pickles as they were "out", the actual portion of chicken salad that was on the stale croissant did not even cover the croissant and the lemonade was watered down. I am a big fan of CSC at other locations but this franchise should be suspended until lfixed until. Very sorry to have to post this, but it won't get fixed if they think people don't know or care. read more
