I admit I split my WingStop visits between this location for fueling up before high school football games and a different one before heading downtown for hockey games. This visit, my daughter was at a speech tournament nearby. I appreciate how WingStop cooks the food fresh, but my stomach does not always appreciate having to wait so I try to order ahead of time to cut down on the longing for chicken. The menu can be overwhelming, but I usually jump to their deals page to find the fit for the current party. This times, I did the boneless meal for 2 and added the 2 drink pack. I ordered mild, garlic Parmesan, and hickory smoked BBQ. My boyfriend doesn't do spicy so I added 2 tenders with the hot honey rub for myself. The fries are seasoned so well and I appreciate having access to unlimited fountain drinks. The tea selection can be hit or miss, but the Diet Coke is always there for me. I don't know what they put in the ranch that makes it so magical. I recently discovered their cheese sauce for a dip and it gives me that hot dog vibe I crave at times. The restaurant is usually clean, the gender neutral bathrooms are clean and don't require a code to access or anything, and the staff is kind. I ordered from Wingstop last night and it was one of the worst experiences I've had with any restaurant. Half of my order was straight up missing, which is already unacceptable. How do you mess up an order that badly? Then the food I did get was completely wrong, and to make it even worse, the chicken wings were literally raw. Not "undercooked"--raw. That's not just careless, that's a serious health risk. Nobody should ever have to deal with something like that from a restaurant. I paid for a full, correct meal and instead got missing items, the wrong order, and food that wasn't even cooked. This is beyond disappointing--it's ridiculous. Believe it or not, I have never been to Wingstop. Been to Buffalo Wild Wings, but yeah, never a Wingstop. And I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised at the food, cleanliness of the dining area, and the bathroom? Stay tuned. We went with the Feast meal, since we were rolling 3-deep. It included 16 boneless wings, 6 tenders, and fries. Me and the kids demolished it. With three drinks purchased separately, it was about $34. Not bad. We went with the following sauces, with particular order of best, to last: 1. Garlic parmesan 2. Mild 3. Hickory smoked BBQ I was really surprised with the garlic Parmesan... wished we ordered more. All-in-all, great wings, deep fried to a perfect crisp. The hickory smoked BBQ was rather too salty for my taste. The fries that came with it, spectacular. I'm a fan of semi-soggy fries (no joke) and these were the perfect consistency. I would compare the crispy/soggy ratio to Five Guys fries. If you ever had em, ya know. Service was good. The person was patient as we discussed the sauces, since we never been to a Wingstop before, and brought us the food to our table. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located near the back, by the soda fountain, there were two all-gender bathrooms. My son went to one and I went to the other. We both thought it was super clean. I'm surprised. I was expecting Wingstop to be a stop for late-night munchies, which usually meant that the bathrooms would be a combo of vomit and alcohol. Not the case here. Sit or squat? Sit! There is a new Wingstop in Prospect Heights and my father was excited to try it. When we tried to order, we found the website ordering very difficult. There are too many areas to choose and customize on the order form. Then they ask about addd-ons and we found this to very onerous and overly complicated. Once we FINALLY completed our order we selected the time we wanted to pick up our order. It is one mile round trip to Wingstop. Five minutes total in the car. By the time we got home with our order, the food was already cold! How does this happen? Totally not acceptable!!! Once we reheated the food, we were ready to eat. The food was very plain, not at all memorable. We ordered boneless chicken wings with the following sauces: Hawaiian, lemon pepper, smoky hickory bbq, and Korean BBQ sauce. We could not tell the difference between the two BBQ sauces. The boneless wings were dry and not very crispy. The wings with bones were a little more moist, but not much. The chicken sandwich was moist and crispy. The Hawaiian and lemon pepper sauces had a distinct taste. I cannot recommend the lemon pepper sauce as it tasted like a garlic parmesan sauce. The Hawaiian sauce was nice and sweet. The French fries were not crispy and more on the soggy side. For Wingstop, I recommend that you do what the name says and stop going here for wings. read more

These guys need help! In general, I've never had a great experience at a WingStop restaurant. Their wings *can* be good, but sometimes they aren't done right (I've had wings that were just shy of undercooked, and some that were immolated), and I think they have some great sauces. But just about every time I order from a WingStop, they are super slow and at least one thing about the order is wrong. This WingStop somehow managed to get literally everything wrong, including the drink. A 15 minute order, with literally nobody else in the restaurant or carrying out the entire time we waited (we were there to get pizza from the neighboring Jet's) became a 31 minute order. They didn't get the seasoning on the fries right, they didn't get the sauces right, and they even gave us either Diet Coke or some weird polluted Coke (like their other drink syrups were leaking) with too much ice. At least the carbonation was strong. We got a few extra boneless pieces, but they were kinda mediocre so it wasn't much of a bonus. The bone-in wings were just okay, but still the wrong sauce. Although we didn't get the sauces we wanted, at least the sauces they used were good. The chicken was also adequately cooked, if a little on the dry side. We thought maybe they gave us the wrong order, but the ticket was our order and all entered correctly in their system. Two other yelpers we know, whose reviews are always on-point, also have had similar problems with this location. I get they're a new-ish location, and maybe having training issues, but it sounds like they're still having trouble months after opening (as well the Jet's is just as new, and they didn't have any problems with the food). The only positive think I can say, at least the restaurant is clean and well lit. This, and the fact that they didn't serve us undercooked chicken (like the awful WingStop in Wheeling near Jimenez Market), is the only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1 star. Hopefully they'll get their food prep in gear soon, though, or they're toast... There are too many better places to get good wings and chicken sandwiches in the area (go to Heffy's or Hangry Joe's instead). read more

For me, an average Wingstop location with the standard array of boneless and bone-in wings that you've come to expect from the chain, with a wide variety of sauces. The service is quick and efficient, which appeared to be mostly carryout orders from my visit. The store is new and clean, with items arranged orderly and the tables/chairs all neatly put in place, and a minimum of wingstop related decor on the walls. Like other locations I've tried, I didn't find the food to be particularly special especially with lots of American fried chicken and Korean fried chicken options nearby which are generally more crispy/crunchy with bigger pieces of chicken and equally interesting sauce options. The non-wing items like the chicken sandwich here are alright, but nothing special compared to other restaurants that offer a similar choice, and the fries are alright as well -- not the most crispy out there and not the most addictive seasoning options either. Overall, a reasonable option if you need a quick place to get wings, but the food is nothing special. read more

Boneless chicken wings or tenders with fries is the quintessential kids meal. And while I'm a grown adult, I am always happy to indulge in a familiar classic. My recent Raising Cane's review was less than spectacular, so I was prepared to be amazed by a place where "flavor gets its wings". Sure enough, I was wowed by this meal. I have enjoyed better chicken tenders or wings at local bars, but in terms of fast food, this may be one of the best options out there. The chicken is juicy and succulent, with the right amount of colorful sauces coating it. And the fries are fresh cut and hot, perhaps a bit over-seasoned, but they still hit the spot. This probably isn't a place I will habitually go to. But when I do go again, I'll definitely try their sandwich. read more

The massive disappointment was the Parmesan garlic boneless wings - which literally had dry flake Parmesan garlic cheese spread on just ONE side. They only had one employee working in prime hours. I'm counting 7 different customers including myself that have all been waiting 35+ minutes for our food. You'd think the wait would be worth it but the 1 employee decided to skip out on sauces and pretty much just skipped half of the process. I pay about the same amount for wings at another restaurant and the difference in size is notable. The garlic parmesan was horrible and was nearly inedible. There must have been spoiled parmesan, too much garlic or some other reason. We kindly asked for a little sauce to drizzle over it and try to remove the bad taste. We should have been due a new set of wings. The fries were also burnt and hard. I had to force the guy to remake my food for me to go pick it up and him fighting with me on the phone to the point where I am furious!
