His attitude was so uplifting and positive, and you could genuinely tell he cared about his job and about the customers coming in. I'll be honest -- sometimes the food could be a little fresher at times, but I know when I come in and Steven is there, it's always fresh and made right. Good customer service is hard to find these days, and Steven truly stands out. He was welcoming, patient, and made the whole experience better just by the way he treated me. Location was very disorganized with very few employees and I couldn't receive my online order even though it was prepared and I could see it through the pick up window. Not too busy and it was still a 20 minute wait time. The drink station had no lids and none were provided when asked, the sweetened tea was unsweetened, and several parts of my order were missing. I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped in. I ordered a two person combo with french fries, Korean barbecue wings, and garlic Parmesan Wings. It came with two sodas and two sauces. I chose blue cheese and ranch. The wings were crispy, and delicious. Loved the spicy Korean barbecue sauce, but equally loved the dry rub garlic Parmesan. My family devoured them. The french fries were very fresh, cut from the potato vertically, with skin on. Very good. The employee working was extremely polite and nice. The Wingstop that I went to was rather falling apart. (This may be different for you). So I do not recommend eating at the place, but bringing the food home or getting your food delivered is good. It's hard to believe anyone could give this place five stars (unless they work there or have friends or relatives working there: but notice a pattern by sorting these from recent to oldest - the five star reviews seem to come after a series of bad ones... maybe they're sincere but that pattern seems a bit artificial). We've given the place a chance many times since 2018. Occasionally some things seemed to improve - only to get twice as bad as they were within a couple of visits. Simply stated, they get their orders wrong, often omitting things you've PAID for, the staff is exceptionally rude: they don't want to work there, they shut down things and "run out" of food items an hour or two before closing, and the food is inconsistent - the soda machine always low on flavors or soda brands, the ice is always out, and the napkins / paper towels poorly supplied. For a chain, it's surprising this place runs as pitifully as it does. First off the address that Yelp lists for this location is incorrect. When I tried calling for directions and correct address I received no answer. When I entered I saw no staff member at the counter. When I walked in further I heard conversation and laughter coming from the back. Once I could be seen by the staff a female walked towards ma and requested my order. She then informed me that it would be about a 15 minute wait once I paid. She immediately returned back to the back kitchen area and the laughter continued. I never realized how important a staff can be to a fast food place such as this. I've been coming to this location since it opened, the original staff was exceptional at preparing the food. These guys made this place the go to spot. However the new staff leave much...TOO much to be desired, and it gets worse each time. This night specifically was one of the worse experiences I've had at any establishment! Our food took almost 20 minutes to come out, we had 2 couples come in after us and get their food first. That was the first red flag, the 2nd is when both couples returned to the front desk and said their orders were wrong. After dealing with both sets of customers the two girls behind the desk realized they missed out order and scrambled to get ours ready. The wings had maybe a teaspoon of sauce per wing, and the fries came out black...black. I brought those fries back faster then someone could blink and asked for a new batch. A new batch was made and brought to the table. On the service it seemed like the order was salvaged despite the wings being poorly made. Man was I wrong...the new batch of fries were not even cooked. I probley wont return here for a long while. I can hardly deal with the two coworkers they play kissy poopoo in the corner, although highly uncomfortable i can deal with it if the food comes put normal. However this last visit was just awful, and the group of angry customers gathered at the front all but confirmed how awful it's gotten. I drove 30 minutes with my friends to try Wingstop for the first time and they did NOT disappoint. We walked in and the kind man at the register, Steven, immediately welcomed us and took our order. The store was spotless and service was impeccable. The ambiance was comforting and welcoming. We were told the food would take 15 minutes and it took less than 10. I find these negative reviews hard to believe! My son and his friends adore Wingstop (Port Chester)!

The food is mediocre. My 14 year old son enjoys the chicken wings, so I get them once/week. The option is to not order in advance, but rather go there and sit and wait 15 minutes for fast food. The other option is to call them. No matter the time of day (it is now 4pm - certainly not prime time) they never answer the phone. It rings and rings and rings. One time when I couldn't get through I drove over there and they hadn't opened for the day??? So I thought they had closed down for good (wouldn't be a surprise given their service issues) but miraculously they were open the next day.
