Well the 2nd time around they were just as mediocre. I got the lemon pepper wings combo.. 6 wings fries and a drink for 20 bucks. Was NOT worth it at all. Lemon pepper tasted nothing like lemon pepper and the fries were just plain crinkle fries with a little seasoning on them and the tropical lemonade (that they make in house) was just thick and sweet (too sweet). The guy that took my order was polite and the other employees that I encountered seemed pleasant. The inside had some tables with table cloths and uno cards .. seems like it's a good place to chill but I can't get past the food. It's a No for me.

AND to top it all off it's inside a Spanish supermarket..... and the weird thing is that they don't sell "Korean" style fried chicken in my opinion. I am a huge fan of Korean style fried chicken. Usually they are double fried and are flavored with soy garlic or Korean hot spicy sauce. Ying's is nothing like that, so if you are craving that style of chicken you will be greatly disappointed with this place ... Now on to the surprising part! Their chicken is actually pretty decent! Yes it was crispy, yes it was juicy, yes it was pretty tasty. I would say that their chicken tastes more like a Chinese style fried chicken. And that is not a bad thing. The odd thing is that your chicken does not come flavored with the sauce. The sauce comes as a side to dip your chicken into! The size of the chicken drumsticks were enormous!!!!!!!!! And their portion sizes are quite generous! My wife and I definitely had leftovers! I wanted to dislike the place because that place did not make any sense to me. As a Korean chicken restaurant I would give this place a 3.... But it's a 4 based on taste and value!

After seeing the older reviews, however, we guessed that it had been remodeled recently. You order and pay at the counter. They give you a number for the table that matches your receipt. They bring your food to you on a tray. We decided to share an order of shrimp and fish. We got the combo dinner which came with two sides. My husband added on another single side. There were six fried shrimp in the order along with two flaky white fish fillets. They were perfectly cooked and served hot. We got both tartar and cocktail sauce. The seafood came with two corn fritters, as well. For our sides, we chose baked beans and coleslaw. The beans were just okay, but I really liked the coleslaw a lot. I also tried the macaroni salad and liked it too -- although a touch of salt would have been nice. We were very pleased with our lunch. It was enough to share with a drink and the added side. A big plus was that it was about $20 -- in today's world, a bargain!

This was my first time ordering at this location, but I've been to several other locations and was pleased. I placed my order online and had a 20-25 minute wait, per my confirmation. I arrived about 30 min later and my order was not done. I was ok with waiting a few extra minutes, they did seem rather busy. The strange thing was, one of the workers was outside the door, not letting any customers in. She would call in to the workers for orders and let us know the status. The inside benches were also placed strategically, to block off the path to the back. It seems weird, but I continued to wait outside with the others. Suddenly, a bunch of workers near the register started screaming and scampering like something "alive" was in the floor, at their feet. The worker in the doorway reassured us that it was "just a spider." I imagined a rodent of some sort or perhaps a giant cockroach. And wondered if they were having a problem since this may be why no customers were able to enter the restaurant.
