This was my first experience in a Wingstop. I have seen them around Memphis but never had an urge to try them. I called in my order of 40 wings mixed and some veggies and fries for pick up. The cashier had some trouble taking the order over the phone but I guess that is par for the course on a new store. She quoted me 14 minutes exactly so I headed over to pick it up. I arrived in exactly 13 minutes to assure I get fresh chicken. Upon arrival there where a few people waiting around for food and one table sat. The table looked quite annoyed, not sure why... I pay and I then realize it's going to be a good bit longer. The (manager) person in charge was kind of frantic and scattered even though it wasn't that busy. I parked out front so I asked if thy would just wave when my food came up. They were nice enough to oblige. Total time = 27 minutes from the time I called. Btw. The table that was sitting when I arrived got their food the same time mine came up. Got home to really nice hot food except for the fries. I'm not sure if this is standard but they where loose in the bag in a paper basket uncovered. Strange. The wings where really good. Some where on the really small side but mostly ok in size, not big by any means. We for garlic parm, Louisiana rub, and BBQ. All had really good flavor and where nice and crunchy. The BBQ sauce was not sweet and had a good kick to it. The fries where really pretty good even though chilled. I bet they are awesome when fresh. All in all pretty good. I'll be back and will remember that it takes 14 minutes to cook only if you are first in line. I will also kick up the heat options next time. What we had where not spicy at all. read more

I really hate that the food is Good but the service is horrible. NO matter what day you come. There is no help. Multiple call ins, not enough help in which causes service to be slow and horrible. Can't place orders online, workers are frustrated and have attitudes because of the call ins. This establishment needs to be shut down and revamped with capable and dependable workers. My husband arrived at 6pm today 4/21/23 and placed an order in store. Apparently it appeared no orders were being made as all employees were standing around. One employee with exceptionally long fake nails was scratching her head in the kitchen then sticking her hands into someone's order, which they had said was ours so my husband complained about the employee that touched it, to which they responded it "wasn't a big deal". Only for it not to be our order. After a while of waiting they placed up one bag so he asked if that was his, gave his name, and the employee said that it wasn't his, so he sat back down. They then continued to make orders for DoorDash only and place then on the rack, despite them coming through after my husband arrived and placed an order, along with other customers who had been waiting in store. So now after an hour and a half, the other customers being just as irate as us, started taking the DoorDash orders. One of the other customers said that the one bag that had been put up over an hour earlier did in fact say my husbands name on it. We are so in shock at how disgusting and incompetent this place was tonight. My husband, enraged, took the bag and just left. We will be making a serious complaint in any and all avenues. The workers were confused. It took me twenty minutes to place the order. The girl on the phone didn't know what she was doing. When we got there a customer who was dining in was still waiting on fries. He had been waiting 45 minutes just for fries. To go orders with fries went out before he got his.
