Please help me understand how this is ok?!

I'm not sure what's up with the food places in Louisville, but they are TERRIBLE! Not only did I wait 25 minutes for a 6 piece combo, when no one was in line in front of me, but they had the nerves to sit my fries in a regular carton try, on top of my box of wings. If this is a norm, why would you leave French fries in a bag to spill all over, and not place them in a container concealing the beat, as well?! The lady asked if I wanted fresh fries, but why would I order fresh fries for them to get cold again, if you're not going to put them in a container? And furthermore, you all have used my entire lunch break for this! The food was also not pleasant.

I would not suggest visiting this location. They do not wear gloves and seemingly not sure if they are practicing good food sanitation. My niece went today and said that the guy was touching raw chicken with his bare hands, then touched cooked food, and then pushed down the garbage. They are also not enforcing for people to pull their masks up. I was standing in the lobby for a while waiting for my food and there was a guy standing there with his mask in his chin. No one thought to ask him to pull it up especially since he was standing there. When I went the food was good though. It was fresh out the fryer. We got the wings plain, spicy Korean q and Louisiana rub. Spicy Korean q and Louisiana rub are my favs. I also like the sweet and salty fries. This location has definitely went downhill since they opened. Until they get new management or have better staff, I will not be going any longer. Can't afford to get sick.

After reading my review, the Winstop owner responded and apologized for my family and my experience. I just finished dining at his Jefferson Loop Wingstop. The TEAM was very professional, friendly, warm, and inviting. But not to only my family but to everyone that came in. By far....the BEST customer services I have had in along time and the store was very clean. I am going back to update my views to reflect the support from the store and this store GREAT service. This store has restored my faith in the Wingstop franchise. Thank you again. Lakenya

Clearly see the order time in this photo and I'll add a new photo to show the time it is now

Doesn't look like I'll be coming back. Ordered at 4:26 on a Saturday, they weren't very busy when I came inside, in fact no one was in the store when I had arrived. Ordered a 6 piece boneless and fries Combo. Upon paying I asked a wait time and they told me 10-15 minutes tops and I said fine and sat down to wait. An hr and 20 minutes goes by and still no food. Upon that I go to the counter and ask where my food is and I they asked name on order and he'd go check on it. Came back and said "could it be under a new name" and I said no have him my receipt and clearly had my name on the ticket. Came back and said "yeah they must've thrown the ticket away or something we don't have it" and so upon that I asked for a refund. Told me hold up and came back out 10 minutes later with my food. For the wait time the food isn't worth it at all. Won't ever come back to this location in my lifetime. Wingstop is my favorite wing restaurant but not after today. I'll be looking for a new one from now on. Also the wings were cold af when he gave them to me. So after today nah never again. I'll skip the wing stop on Louisville. Terrible employees and terrible service overall. Not coming back

I wish I could give this store zero stars. The restaurant is gross and the staff is very unprofessional. I waited over an hour.

Someone brought their wings to a pitch in. Never being a fan of wings, I thought I would try them…read moreanyway. Much to my surprise I really liked them. Crunchy breading, juicy and tender inside. They were not spicey or dripping in any sauce, just regular breaded and I thought "I am going to have to go to this place soon" After doing some research I found that they have drive thru only for dinner hours. So I made my trip down Broadway to Chicken King and could not miss the big yellow sign nor the already 7 cars in the drive thru. Since this chicken has a otremendous fan base, I considered myself lucky to be #8 in line as others pulled behind me. The menu is packed full of items, so my first tip is to look up the menu online before you go...less pressure once you arrive...lol I ordered the 8 PC box (regular) for my husband, 3 PC tenders (that comes with 3 potato wedges) for myself and a medium peach cobbler to share. I was very disappointed that the tenders were not fresh nor freshly breaded. They were pressed and glued white meat formed into a tender. I actually only ate one, shared one with my dog and threw the last one away. The potato wedges were the star. I should have ordered more of those. My husband, who LOVES fried chicken was not impressed. He said KFC and Golden Corral has better. The peach cobbler was average. So, I am sorry to summarize our experience as not having a reason to return.

The fact that Shannon gave an attitude when he kindly asked for a refund was undefiled. I didn't even get the chance to eat my food because I was waiting for him to get his meal. Royals is good, spicy food, served kindly and quickly. (It's a simple counter order and basic table…read moreservice kind of place. Not quite fast food, but nearly as fast and casual.) If you've not had Nashville-style Hot Chicken, Royals offers a great introduction and if you know what to expect, Royals delivers at a competitive level, in a city that has seen a fun history of competition in fried chicken. I recommend the X-Hot these days, but that's not where I started. Somewhat regular trips over many years have made that my goto favorite. (I have done the next and final heat level, Gonzo, once. I recall it was great. I plan to do it again. I save it as a cardio workout for the right sort of low other commitments weekend.) I recommend always checking out what the Sliders of the Month are. The monthly specials generally are quite special and have combined so many fun flavors over the years. Though my heart maybe belongs most of all to the Hot Fish, now no longer just a March special. It's hard for me to write about Royals without some form of nostalgia. This building is my neighborhood fast-ish food shop. It hasn't been Royals the whole time I've lived in the neighborhood, but it has made up for it with longevity in a block I've watched shift a lot around it. I miss some of the businesses that used to be on this block. i appreciate some of the new ones. It's been interesting watching Royals grow up into feeling like an anchor here. (I also still sometimes miss some of Royals original options like the hot tofu and some of their early sides, especially as someone who still ranks fried chicken places by their sides even this side of Yum Brands' Commonwealth-named chicken place also giving up on fresh veggies despite once advertising it never would. But Royals did recently graduate Hot Fish to the year-round menu to make it up to me, almost personally, so there are plenty of good changes as well over the years.) I look forward to how they grow and change in the future, and I hope they'll keep this block cool and with an easy spot for a neighbor like me to count on to catch a fast, spicy lunch or dinner.

We chose the main floor bar because there were less people and we were helped right away. We got a couple drinks each and all were pretty good- no watered down drinks here! My favorite was the espresso martini. We also opted for the Doritos nachos which were pretty filling for an appetizer!
