I have ordered food from this Wingstop twice. I have never received a bite of food and I'm still waiting for a refund. The first time I went there all the employees were all wearing their masks but they were wearing them under their chins. Sad thing is that they charge .79 for each sauce because theres a limit on how many sauces you can get. Overall the food is excellent compared to bw3. This place was def worth the drive, my hubby and I were craving wings and we decided to try something different. I recommend the Louisiana rub and the Cajun if u like spicy, there mild is really good too. As you could tell by the name, this newly opened place specializes in chicken wings. They do have other offerings, but for this review I will focus on their namesake offering. When you walk in you see a quasi aviation theme, I imagine that it would be a good place to catch a game on TV though, as they have three fairly large screens in their moderately sized dining room. I had the Original hot wings, and the Louisiana Cajun dry rub wings. I have to say that I liked them equally, but they were really two very different wings. I also have to give big props on the in-house bleu cheese dressing served on the side, it was probably the best I've ever had, outside of making it myself. The Original wings don't have much heat, so if you want to have some kick on your lip, try the atomic version. The only knocks I have on the place was the slightly creepy looking cashier guy, and the fact that they charge for everything, including the excellent bleu cheese dressing and even the celery and carrot sticks. They also don't have quite the variety of flavors that others, namely BWW, have. I will probably be back, and it is worth a try if you are in in the area when a wing craving hits you. read more

It's a little pricey, but well worth the cost. Staff is great, and the manager is there around the clock it seems, and he's very friendly. You can tell he strives for your satisfaction. Poor Ownership and Management. I had a Issue that I wanted to bring to owner attention. He told me he was thankful i told him about it and offer me a free meal (which i didn't ask for). I go to get my free meal and the owner reneged on the free meal . I was told he looked into it didn't believe it happened and that i had to pay for it. Found WingStop via a Google-search of "Louisville best chicken wings" a few weeks ago and tonite I visited the Dixie Highway location. I got an 8-wing combo, with fries & and a drink, and I was Very Disappointed with WingStop's bone-in wings. Overall I'd give WingStop's wings a Mediocre-rating and probably will not revisit nor would I recommend WingStop as "A place to get good wings". First and foremost, their bone-in wings are Very Small. They deep-fry their bone-in wings and then toss them in the selected sauce. I got half my order with "Original Hot" and the other half in the "Mild" sauce. My "Original Hot" wings were mildly hot, at best, and there was hardly any linger of heat. Using Franks Red Hot Wing Sauce as a comparison to be what some could consider a traditional "hot" sauce, or Buffalo Sauce, for wings -- spicy at bite with some lingering heat, in my opinion, Wingstop's "Original Hot" sauce is at 1, if not 2, small-notches below Frank's Red Hot Wing Sauce. read more
