Customer service to say the least is the worst I've experienced in years. The person who took my order was not happy to be there and lacked literal CUSTOMER SERVICE qualities. I accidentally made a mistake while ordering (it was the first thing I was ordering) and he had the worst attitude about it and acted AS IF I had changed the order AFTER completing my order. He didn't even possess the qualities to say something like "I have that down, what else would you like?" So the whole time I'm ordering, I stand there cluelessly until he glares at me to continue. I'm unsure why he was being so rude especially because I know I wasn't being a rude/inconsiderate customer whatsoever. Safe to say I probably will never order from Wingstop again just because of the horrible customer service. The food is good though, they messed up my order a bit but that happens considering they got most of it right. I don't recommend going in person to order AT ALL. I ordered food for my staff - 100 wings, 4 flavors, 5 things of fries- from Uber eats. The driver picked up 1 out of the 3 bags and left, then told me when he handed me the bag "yeah, they told me one bag". Well we opened it to find less than half our food. Called this location and they confirmed 2 more bags were waiting and they had tried to haul him down when he left. When I came to pick up the rest of the food, they had remade the entire order! Being my first time in a Wingstop, the young lady at the register was most friendly and helpful. My decision landed on a 8 piece wingless meal... I asked for mild Buffalo and to make them wet (leave the sauce on them).. When I got home with my order, I was delighted to see that the wings were indeed wet and the amount of fries was more than adequate.. I had all ready polished off my Cherry coke before I made it home. The wings were cooked perfectly, crisp with a most interior... The fries were most excellent as well. But alas, this time was actually worse (although I'm still trying to figure out how that was possible. I was at the Westport road location (both times). I asked for 8 wings and a large soft drink. Once I got home, I noticed that my friends were not in there, so I gave them a call with a heads-up that I was coming back. I ordered Cajun seasoned fries, and boneless wings consisting of: spicy Korean bbq, hickory smoked bbq, and mild (Spicy Korean bbq is my fav). The wing itself has a large amount of chicken and is lightly breaded. The fries were delicious with plenty of spice! I also got a side of ranch which was nice to cook down the heat. Order was confusing for the clerk I was a walk in customer ordered 4 chicken tenders with some wings checking the order they shorted me one tender the lady went to the side where one employee opened some other customers order and hand picked up the missing wing ( bare handed !) and placed the tender in my order ! I never observed any employee using any tools or gloves ! My fries were missing as well ! Looking at how the fries were hand grabbed and placed into the fryer in front of me I left .... no sanitation practice in order , no tool usage to handle the food a care free practice on food handling in front of customers ! Ordered delivery. I placed and online order for 20 wings and a large fry. It was $25.87 and then after tip and delivery charges it was $37.58. It says nothing about being delivered by door dash until you have already placed your order and paid. Get my order, and there are only 11 wings?? The bag was sealed with a big green sticker, so the dasher obviously isn't going to check it, the fries were just in a fry boat and all soggy when I got them, but I wasn't even upset about that. I'm like ok mistakes happen whatever I'll just call the store. So I call the store, the guy acts like he doesn't know what's going on. So after 5 minutes he tells me they usually have you call DoorDash customer service. -_- I knew this would take a while. So I called and stay on the phone for 32 mins, was transferred 3 times, then transferred to a wing stop customer service person, she tells me they can send me a $15 gift card OR she can email the store and have a manager call me about getting a refund. So after almost 40 minutes on the phone they resolved absolutely nothing. I've worked/still work in restaurants and customer service for over 10 years and I've never left a bad review anywhere, because I do understand that mistakes. Do. Happen. All the time! And that's ok! But this was a really frustrating experience. They're making it a lot harder than they need to.
