I do like spicy so it wasn't overwhelming to me. But to most people who get Buffalo for mild flavor may think this would be spicy. The wings were juicy, and cooked well. I did notice their breading seems a bit thicker but it definitely made it crunchy. Definitely cool area to check out for some cheap eats.

Try the Mexican corn appetizer with it's crumbly cotija cheese, chili, lime, and mayo on top of charred corn kernels. It's in 'esquites' form, which means it's not left on the cob like 'elote' is. Their specialty, nachos, are also well seasoned and the chips are freshly made on site. What drew me in to this restaurant was a past appearance on the Maury Povich Show, where I took a paternity test for someone who claimed she was my daughter. The end result? I was cleared, so Maury pointed at me while telling her that he's "Not yo' daddy." And so I visit Nacho Daddy on occasion, strictly for celebratory reasons. Birria nachos are excellent, made with a high quality shredded beef with pickled onion, cilantro, sour cream, cheese, and lime on top of a stack of chips. Having birria without consommé was new, but this one didn't really need it with all the flavors jumping out. Another recommendation is the cheeseburger nacho, an Americanized version with ground beef, bacon, cheddar, jack, queso, onions, tomato, and lettuce. The 'mini nachos' are perfectly sized for a light meal but if you're hungry, get the full size order which is huge and shareable. This location has been in business for 17 years now and there's plenty of seating in a nice, clean atmosphere.

The drinks were great though, so just go for drinks and vibes. The restaurant is super cute and the back patio area is whimsical and a nice escape from the Fremont madness. Our server Haydee was really sweet and attentive.

There are people just sleeping or talking to themselves all along Main St, but none were in the parking lot. I personally wouldn't go by myself at night... so I hope they can get a shop in Chinatown or Cheongdam food hall one day crossing my fingers!!!!!

I highly recommend the garlic noodles with duck. It was beyond expectations. I especially loved that they did not skimp on any of the meats in each dish. They were not busy as there was a table of three next to us and a couple on another table. First, the greeting from the host was so unenthusiastic when he finally looked up from whatever paperwork he was looking at. It was uncomfortable walking in as the lady working in the open kitchen just glared at us. Once seated our server was just as lacking in any excitement whatsoever and it just seemed like no one liked their job. We ordered the Steamed Ginger Chicken Dumplings, Tokyo Crepes, Popcorn Chicken Skins, Sizzling Noodles with Chicken and Thai Tea Crème Brulee. First, the steamed ginger chicken dumplings wrap was so rubbery and firm. This is not how the wrap of a "steamed" dumpling should be. The filling on the inside was also dry and I had to wonder how long ago this was steamed and left out? The only thing that helped with this dish was that there was a sauce over it and sadly there wasn't enough sauce to give this dish any moistness. The Popcorn Chicken Skin was not as light and crunchy as I thought it would be. Whatever coating was used before frying the chicken skin seemed a bit heavy. Wouldn't order this again. I did enjoy the Tokyo Crepes and found it flavorful and different. Not sure if the wrap around it was the fried tofu but it was airy, fluffy and light. This is a dish I would order again. The recommended Sizzling Noodles were also good with the noodles having enough of a chew and flavor. The Thai Tea Crème Brulee dessert was a winner. The server who brought this over to our table was a different person who seemed happy to be working there. He dropped the dessert off which looked great (see picture). The top had a nice crackle when broken and the flavor of the thai tea is very mild. Some people may not notice it and think it is too mild but we thought it was wonderfully done. Overall, the service is standard and not very friendly. Maybe everyone was having an off day? The food started off disappointing but was followed by some creative and flavorful dishes. I think it is worth visiting but it's not a place I automatically put down as a return visit.
