When I walked in I was greeted by an older man who explained the menu to me after I told him that was my first time there. I ordered the 6 piece wing combo that comes with fries and a drink ($9.99) I asked for mild with lemon pepper sprinkles. The wait wasn't long at all maybe 10-15min. When I got home the food was still warm. I thought the wings were good, but the fries had no seasoning on them at all. Overall I thought the wings were good, but I can't say they were the best I've ever had.

THEY ARE SAUCING!!! So many flavors and they are all so delicious! Make sure to get the wet lemon pepper and the garlic buffalo on the side for dipping! The owner is not stingy with sauces (like most restaurants these days) , and I love that cause I'm a saucy girl! The portions at birdies are insane! My mom and I split the 4 piece tendie meal with an order of fried mushrooms and by the end, we are STUFFED, like your Thanksgiving turkey. Now let me tell you about the cherry on top of it all. The sweet tea. BAY BEE, it is SO GOOD! EVERY TIME! I need birdies to sell tea by the gallon! YUM YUM GO GETCHA SOME! We love birdies!

Malory was our server, and despite having two large tables to cover, she was super friendly, very professional, and did a great job getting everyone's food and drink right and in good timing. I LOVE the variety of high-quality menu items here! There was something delicious for the pickiest of our teenage basketball players and their parents! From burgers to salads to poke nachos to beet salad, every single dish was exceptionally plated and prepared. The diner itself was spacious and well accommodated. Very pretty design with a modern touch. It was nice to couples on dates, families enjoying a nice meal, and then a large birthday group next to us. The weather was great for those seated outside. Just a wonderful place altogether!

We ordered drinks and dinner. Our server was friendly and gave honest recommendations based off what each of us were interested in eating. I can't remember what each of the other girls had, but I ordered the Grown-up Grilled Cheese with a side wedge salad. I wouldn't think of a grown up grilled cheese as having short rib in it. I would have figured it would be elevated cheeses, but who am I to say? I sounded good regardless, and it was tasty as well. I don't have any negative comments about the food, however, it didn't blow my socks off. I'd come back, but wouldn't go out of my way to drive just for this restaurant.
