I was going to visit this place a few more times before I wrote anything but this has been building up for some time. First, I got very little help in ordering. When I ordered I specified exactly what it was that I wanted. I was told it would take 20 mins. Ok...20 minutes isn't so bad. Then I got my order..... What I ordered wasn't there. Since I got this to-go, I just grabbed it and left. When I got home, the only thing they got right was the fries. Which by the way were soggy and yucky. I ordered the 10 wings. I got 5 small nuggets of grossness! I ate 2 of them just to try. Over breaded doesn't even begin to say it. I mean, I paid a small fortune for the wings that I didn't get and what I DID get was just gross. If I wanted Micky D Nuggets I would have gone to Micky D's. I've eaten here about 3 times so far because I have a thing for fried chicken and pretty much always crave it. It's... ok? I mean, if you really want some chicken wings, then it's not a bad choice, but honestly Buffalo Wild Wings or even my favorite cheapish option (Pizza Hut Wings) are overall better. The wings are a little too heavily breaded even though the chicken is pretty good. The sauces are mixed in with butter I think and they apply it WAY to heavy handidly. The bottom just swims with butter ever time I order them. Most of the sauces don't have a lot of flavor or just taste overwhelmingly like butter. So far the only consistently tasty one is the Lemon Pepper. I sometimes order the Louisiana rub as a sauce on the side and it's ok taste wise but not as impactful as I'd want. They also don't have buffalo sauce which is a little weird for a wing place. The app for iphone is absolutely terrible and pretty much doesn't function (might be better on android?). If you don't order ahead expect a bit of a wait even if they aren't busy. Overall - go if you are really craving some chicken wings and don't want to drive far, but if you've got the time and can drive elsewhere, go to BWW or whatever your normal favorite chicken wing place is. read more

I walked in at 11:35 on a Friday night and the cashier was very unwelcoming, he did not want us to order food at all he repeated to me that the dryers are off and that it'll take 25 minutes to turn back on. I came specifically to wing stop because they're one of my favorite places. To start off I would like to say that I went 7 hours without any food in my system before I decided to get Wingstop. I was imagining the sweet nice smell of their original hot sauce but that picture went away as soon as I called to place an order for pick up. First of all the gal who answered the phone was so rude to me, I literally cried when I hung up. I looked past the rudeness and was excited to pick up my food. When I got there the gal read back my order and it was WRONG, they had given me blue cheese instead of ranch. Yes you read correctly, disgusting fucking blue cheese. I luckily caught it and was able to get it switched to ranch. Imagine how ruined my mood would have been if I got home and seen that they gave me blue cheese?! Anywho, the gal gave me my order and my two drinks, I go to get soda and they're out of every single drink you can think of. Another customer let the gal in the front know and she did not care what so ever. My options were extremely limited so I decided to go with a sugar free strawberry lemonade. Tried this place for the first time, it's by the Habit Grill on sunnyside and herndon. The inside was clean and looked nice, pretty straight forward menu, and the cashier was very helpful when I had a few questions so that's a plus! I got a half and half combo with mango habanero and the original hot boneless wings. It came with fries, drink, and your choice of a dipping sauce. I live right down the street from here so my food wasn't sitting long. The fries were very soggy and obviously old kinda had a weird taste I didn't end up eating them. And my wings were a little soggy as well but i understand wings can do that pretty fast. I'm sorry to write this, because I don't believe that anyone is messing up on purpose, but that being said, we understand it is a situation with the pandemic and so patience is necessary. We were told 30 mins for our food to be ready for pickup. We waited 40 to leave our house. When we arrived there were bags all over the counter and a line of people waiting outside. OK, we waited our turn. Once we got inside we paid and were asked to wait outside...gladly. 15 mins pass. 25 mins pass. We decide to leave and come back. Must have been another 20 minutes. So we finally come back and they haven't even started our food... What??! The manager was notified and she jumped on our order from there. So here we are 2 hours later and just getting our food now. The mango habanero had a extremely sweet flavor and not too spicy but nothing like a normal mango hab. flavor I'm used to.. wasn't a fan. Wouldn't order ever again. On the other hand the spicy Korean flavor was different, it was better than the mango habanero. Unique taste that was a mixture of sweet Asian zest and spice. Fries were horrible, tasted like the salt shaker cap fell off on my order. I was very displeased with my visit as it wasn't extremely busy and I ordered before other customers. Waited about 25 minutes for 10 wings while customers who ordered well after me received their food first. After reading the comments posted here, I was blown away. My wife and I could not be happier with our first order. Here are the details. It was a call in order, around 7:50 PM, Sunday after the 49ers lost to Seattle. We chose the 50 piece with a side of potato salad and a side of coleslaw. Both were very good. The sides did not taste cheap or "factory made" I will say that the coleslaw tasted identical to a famous "fried chicken" chain. OK... here are the flavors we choose for the wings. Plain and dry (good, basic and tender with a hint of salt), Garlic Parmesan (very good garlic taste with a coating of the Parmesan), Teriyaki (good flavor with a hint of ginger), Original HOT wing style (very good and stands up to the best out there), Atomic(WOW...not for kids. Very good hot kick to it). I asked my wife on the details when she walked in to get our order. First she noted it was very clean. Second, the staff was very nice and helpful. She did have to wait a bit, but noted they were very busy. We were also pleased at how reasonable the price our order was. We had a very good dinner for under $50. Ending note... Overall the wing and drumet size were big and juicy. The veggies were fresh, crisp and cold and large in size. Not slivers.(celery/carrots) The ranch and blu cheese dressings were also very good. Hmm. I wish I would have seen the low rating BEFORE trying wing stop for the first time last night. My experience was not good. Fries= soggy. Garlic Parm wings=Uh someone forgot the garlic sauce. All they had was a light coating of parm cheese. I might as well have ordered plain wings. In comparison, BWW's verson of the same wing maybe the best flavor they offer. Atomic wings=Good flavor (although after eating the plain Parmesan wings, anything with flavor would have tasted good), not overwhelmingly hot (if you like hot stuff.) This and the soda aer the only reasons I didn't go 1 star rating. Soda=Good diet coke, no other latent flavors mixed in, properly carbonated. Hard to believe such a simple meal can get screwed up. First off, this review is not about the food, it is good. I visit this WIngstop often, as it is the closet to my home. The customer service has become dismal at best. I tried to call my order in for 30 minutes, straight to busy, seems they only have one phone line? I finally get there, and there is only 2 people In front of me, took forever, seemed the cashier had no clue on how to get people's order in a swift manner and get going. Its Friday night and there are only 3 employees, one cashier(who is also answering phones), and 2 people in kitchen. One person from kitchen came to help cashier sporadically. The line got long. People were walking in to order, seeing the line and only one cashier, and leaving. During the week at lunch time the same thing happens. People come in to order, the cashier tell them 30-35 minutes and they leave, no one has that long of lunch. Whoever runs this franchise is a complete moron. It is not the staff's fault they can't handle the amount of customers. This place is extremely understaffed at all times. The owner/manager of this place is losing tons of money for the company. Literally I bet thousands and thousands a month in people leaving or not coming in because they can't answer the phone. I think corporate needs to teach the franchisee/manager how to run a business. On the side, all the tables are always dirty, again not the staff's fault, they can't handle the volume, this is the owner/managers fault. read more
