I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I placed a pickup order 20 minutes in advance but had to wait 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me, followed by an additional 30 minutes for my food. When it finally arrived, the quality was below standard--the bun was burnt, the fries were overcooked yet served cold and tasted like the fryer oil hasn't been changed in months, and the sauce tasted off. Additionally, I wasn't informed that the drink machine was broken, which led to it spraying all over my clothes just before I had to return to work. Yay! WingStop is open in Ann Arbor! I love WingStop. They are the best franchise wings you can get. They are much better than BWW. I always order the garlic parmesan. I've wanted to try other sauces/flavors, but I am too enamored with their garlic parm. I have stolen a wing or two of the mild buffalo from my husband, and they are yummy too. Their wing combos are really good. You can get their seasoned fried and a drink with your wings. Also, they have Coke products here, which can be hard to find in this town. After waiting 40 minutes and seeing how un sanitary they were asked for a refund. After arguing with the manager I ended up leaving without a refund or food. Emailed and called corporate. We placed an order with the app on a Saturday night, and apparently the store had closed early due to staffing. I was really excited because Ann Arbor is in need of a really good traditional wing shop since BWW is inconsistent and most of the local places are way too expensive. The flavors were there, and I was willing to look past the lack of crispiness because at least they didn't turn into bullets like they did at BWW last time I was there. Plus, they did have an "extra crispy" box on the doordash page that I didn't check, so it could have been my fault. The second time, it was dinner hours. Same story: 10 boneless, but this time add fries. Both extra crispy. This was during March Madness, so I was willing to handwave the hour-plus wait for delivery and chalk it up to playoff season in a college town. But then an hour passed. 75 minutes. 90 minutes. I finally broke down and called to ask what was up and they said they'd "just received my order." Hmm...sounds a little hard to believe, but these things happen. My goodwill was then promptly pissed on again as another hour passed before the wings even left the restaurant. Not to mention the fact that when they finally arrived, none of it was as crispy as advertised despite tasting pretty good. But nonetheless, I blamed the delivery service and resolved to try them again. Finally, there was the big disappointment. This time I ordered two 10-piecers for myself and my mother, except she wanted half boneless and half traditional. The food arrived 45 minutes late again, horribly packaged, no traditional wings in sight, and I'm pretty sure we didn't even get the flavors of wings we wanted. Of course, nothing was extra crispy despite asking for it, and the wings weren't even hot by the time they got here. I want to like Wingstop. People rave about them, and the experience was not without it's positives: the flavors were bold and tasty, the quality of wing meat was surprisingly decent, and I could tell the ranch was the chain's own recipe and not just a bottle of Ken's off the shelf. But until they can fix their issues with making mistakes in the kitchen and being unable to navigate delivery when they've had a whole pandemic to practice, I'll be making my wings at home and continuing to long for a place in Ann Arbor where I can get a quality wing at affordable prices. read more

This was really good. Hot lemon, garlic parmesan, bbq, and Korean bbq. My favorite was the hot lemon pepper, I feel the Korean bbq was objectively the best, but the lemon peppers tang and spice and subtle peppery notes made it feel like a affair with the pool boy too good to put an end to. I recommend starting off with the garlic parm, to build up the tension with everything else and make you think it can't get any better, when it absolutely can. The ranch dressing was all you could ask for, with a restaurant ranch vibe that we all know we want. Expect to pick up the food, take it back to your car, and be perplexed at the smells coming from the bag. You might even cheat and swipe a few fries and salivate on the way home. You get home, open up the bags, and black out. You wake up, surrounded by bones clean to a point you didn't think was possible. All of your friends are passed out around you from a flavor sensation you didn't think was possible from simple chicken wings. You are pleasantly surprised by lemon pepper glazed fingertips that you slurp up. You don't know if any of your friends are alive, or how much therapy you'll need to recover from this dopamine shock. Wingstop is by far my favorite place to get wings. Very excited to have one nearby! I will say, I think this location is struggling a bit. We've ordered a few times and had a couple wrong or missing items, plus the wait time is about an hour. If we're picking up, this seems a bit extreme. However, the wings are too good to pass up! Also the seasoned fries & ranch are some of the most flavorful I've had at a restaurant.
