I have been coming to wings n things for almost 10 years! For someone who is kind of a boneless wing addict I can never get tired of this place. By far the BEST wing place ever! Forget pluckers or BWW! The staff is super friendly and the wait time (for food) has never exceeded over 10 minutes. It's never really busy and really wish more people gave this place a try. The decor is outdated but doesn't bother me much. They have a couple of big screen TVs but it's not a sports bar so I wouldn't expect anything more. They do always show the rockets and thats a huge plus! I always order a chicken tender basket dipped in extra hot with a side of Mario. But don't say i didnt warn you, the cheese fries are addicting! This place usually has good food and decent service, but the past few times I've been here, it has totally sucked. The food was just disgusting, and it wasn't just here, but also at the Wings N Things on 290. The thing is, this is going on everywhere--at every single restaurant and fast food place I've been to in Houston and Austin, the food has gone downhill. My partner works in the restaurant industry and says restaurants have been cutting corners since the price of food has gone up. Well, I'd rather just eat at home and save my money than patronize places whose prices go up but the quality of food goes down. It's a bad business model. read more

My wife and I used to love coming to this Wings and Things. They used to have great service and the food was good. Well, we won't be going back. A few days ago we went by after Church to get some lunch. We ordered our usual, which usually runs about $47 and change (a couple appetizers and a couple big orders of wing dinners, knowing we are going to take some of it home for later). The problem, they wouldn't give us more than three (3) lemon slices, period. We ordered almost $50 worth of food and they cannot afford 25 cents worth of lemons (4 / $1 at Kroger)? It's not like we were being cheap or anything; we weren't making lemonade with them (we both ordered tea). We asked for the manager and she wouldn't budge, saying it was company policy. So, we told her our policy: we won't go to a restaurant who is too cheap to hand out a few extra lemon slices. read more

Our work crew went here for dinner. It was a unanimous opinion that the food was absolutely awful, and overpriced for what you get. All our wings were cold, hard, and bland. The sauces appeared to have been just poured on top of the wings after they were placed on the plates. And the flavors were definitely nothing special. You'd get better flavor and texture from a bag of frozen wings from wal-mart. The fries were also cold and hard, like they had been sitting out for hours. Best wing place in Houston! Waiters are great. Glasses are large. Wings are well done & well covered with sauce. They use Frank's Red Hot - which is the BEST hot sauce around. Does not taste too much like vinegar. I request my fries are cooked "crispy" and they are just perfect. I also ask for a small cup of hot sauce so I may dip my fries in ranch & hot sauce....YUM YUM! Outside looks like a dive, but the food is great. They also have great burgers and other fried food. I've seen the salads and they look nice....but I have never tried one....why would you go somewhere so yummy and eat a salad? read more

Best wings in town, hands down. Not located in the best area but it's worth the drive for us from Kingwood because we just haven't found any as good as this. Get them hot and extra wet and add a few garlic Parmesan to fight the burn. Very reasonably priced too. You won't be disappointed. read more

Great wings and salads. Not very often do you find a wing place to have a good variety of salads. They are always fresh and good. The wings are second to none. Their "Mario hot" are tooooo hot. So if you like your wings hot. Give them a try. I can't eat more than one. So I stick with the "hot". The Tea is always made fresh and they keep it coming. This has been my favorite wing place. But don't order the Chicken Fried Steak. It's a joke. I guess they don't understand that in Texas you can't just call anything a Chicken fried steak. My family has been coming here for over 18 years and we have zero complaints! Service is FAST, staff is friendly and they have had the same people working for as long as i can remember. The food is great and you cant beat it for the price and how fast they bring it out. I love how theyve kept everything the same!
