There are TVs lining the walls and some booth have TVs at them as well. Every one if tuned to sports. The ceilings are high and the vibe is sports bar meets middle of nowhere, local hangout. The place was very busy for 7:30 on a Friday night and the atmosphere is uber casual. Greeted by a seat yourself sign, we found a table in the front corner, by the window, and waited for our server. Within a few minutes we were waited on and given our drinks. First place in a long time that carries Coke products and offered diet Dr Pepper- good start. We order onion rings as an appetizer and I got the soft taco basket while hubby got the crunchy taco basket for dinner. We hopped up shortly after we ordered and moved to an empty table a few feet away because the AC in the area we were sitting was unbearable. Way too windy and way too cold. Found our new seat to be better from a warmth standpoint. Onion rings came out and while there were only 6 in the basket, they were huge and cooked to a nice golden color. Unfortunately, they were a little bland, but with some salt and ranch, not too bad. My soft tacos were delivered open face on a large plate. Interesting presentation for sure. There were 3 and each came with ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. I ordered sour cream on the side and am happy to say, they were delicious. I only ate 2 of the 3 so proportionally they were a very good offering. Hubby's order included 4 crunchy tacos, same fillings- except no tomatoes for him- and I took a small bite to taste the shell. No complaints from either of us. Our server was really sweet and other than a slight delay between getting our drinks and ordering dinner, service was fast and efficient. During the conversation, she apologized and told me that she was giving me a $25 store credit that I could use at that location on any food order within one month. On August 29, 2026, I called the store to order pizza and wings. When I asked to use the $25 credit, the employees kept going back and forth about it. Eventually, the same lady who had called me on August 7 got on the phone. To my surprise, she denied ever calling me or giving me a $25 credit. She said there was no record of the credit in their system. She then asked whether I had another phone number. I gave her my second number, but she said there was nothing in the system under that number either. The way the situation was handled made me feel as though I was being accused of lying just to get free food. I would never call a store and make up a story to get free food. Despite how uncomfortable the situation made me feel, I still decided to go to the store, pick up my order, and pay for it myself. While I was driving and getting close to the store, the lady called me and asked whether I still wanted my order. She also informed me that they did not have lemon pepper flavor for the chicken. I told her that I would just take the pizza. When I arrived at the store, I showed her my phone's call log from August 7, which clearly showed that I had received a call from the store and that the conversation lasted more than three minutes. I explained again that I would never lie to get free food and that I felt the way this situation was handled was very dishonest. When I tried to pay for my pizza, I was then told that the pizza was free. I refused the free pizza because, after everything that had happened, I did not feel comfortable accepting free food from them. I asked them to charge my card for the pizza instead. They told me there was no way for me to pay for it. I then offered another solution: I would place a new order and pay for that order. Instead of allowing me to do that, the lady told me that if I would not take the free pizza, I should leave the store. I found the entire experience extremely disappointing and disrespectful. My concern was never about getting free food. It was about the fact that I was promised a $25 credit, then later made to feel as though I was lying about it. Even after I showed proof of the August 7 phone call, I was not given a reasonable explanation for what happened.
