I really like coming to this location. The staff is actually friendly and will keep you engaged with small conversations while your food is being prepared. So I make sure I go often. This time I ordered the 5 piece tenders with a side of veggies, 2 pieces of cornbread, Buffalo parmesean dipping sauce and an extra ranch. My food was hot, it came out fast, it was fresh, and most importantly it was delicious. I actually placed the order online using door dash which help with the timing. I love the wings here! We got a 30 piece boneless in Jamaican, garlic parm, and awesome sauce. The chicken is very crunchy, juicy and flavorful. Also the pieces are huge. Lemon pepper was the most shocking to me- I don't typically care for it on the items I've had in the past but on the boneless wings it was next level! Chicken and waffles was also on boneless but all it is is chicken tossed in syrup! That combo has always been one of my favorites though! The other two I mentioned were pretty standard flavor profiles but the cool thing about wing snob is they make all their sauces and THEY DONT HAVE ANY FREEZERS! That's what made me try them vs any other wing place! The boneless and tenders is the way to go in my opinion. The chunks are huge, juicy and tender! The garlic parm fries are really good too! The cauli wings in sweet chili sauce was really good too but the sauce is SPICYYYYYY! Very busy location at 12mile / Telegraph that appears to be nearly 100% carryout. I sat at the side counter and ate because I want to review food when it is at its best. I've wanted to try this place for a while as I consider myself a "Wing Snob" so here I am. My order (to be consistent at all wing places) is Buffalo Sauce, and today I had Seasoned fries as they don't serve regular fries. The wings were big, and seemed fresh. The sauce was applied on the light side but was pretty good. Didn't care for the fries, but I wasn't there for the fries to be honest. Overall - I would say good, not great. Wing Snob has delicious boneless wings. The chicken itself is moist and correctly cooked. The breading is crispy and stays on the chicken well. And the three sauces we got were loved by all. They are honey barbecue, chicken and waffles, and awesome sauce. We agreed that awesome sauce is the best, which probably explains the name. We also got the seasoned fries, which tasted good but we're not quite as crispy as we would have liked. The bone in wings were definitely cooked with a little crunch and were still hot when we got them home. They had the perfect amount of sauce on the wings, not swimming in sauce like some wing places(dwc). We went with the Fan pack meal deal for 3-4 people, the 50/50. It's 30 wings 3 flavors 3 dips large Cajun fries, veggie sticks and 2 drinks, for like $33. This was actually enough food to feed 5 people. We went with garlic parmesan, the snobby q and the mango habanero, and really I liked all the wing flavors. And the dips we got ranch, blue cheese and the honey mustard, again all good. But really for me the stand out was the boneless wings, l know a lot of people say boneless wings are just chicken nuggets. But not at WingSnob they are big and juicy have a great batter, saucy with a perfect crunchy, and cooked just right. I thought they were really good. The wings are okay. Tender and meaty. Thats about the end of it. We've ordered take out several times hoping to enjoy it more every time but i think we've given up. Their traditional buffalo sauce is meh. Its slightly sweet and not nearly vinegary enough for me. Its just not amazing. I also love cauliflower 'wings' but theirs are really sad. The last order was way over cooked and over sauced - basically a pile of mush. Cauliflower is great because it roasts so crispy and flavorful. These seem parboiled or baked. Just more meh. Lastly, they don't include dip or veg with your wings. This just bums me out. Its part of the meal in my mind and ordering celery, carrots, and blue cheese on the side makes me resentful. I am a Wing Snob! I love wings and whenever I travel wings are one of the dishes that I look for. So needing a meal and seeing a place named after me had to make the list. GPS had a hard time getting me there although it's really not a tough place to find. I always do naked wings (I know some of you know this) and get my sauce on the side. I do this for two reasons. I like to taste the wing on it's own before the sauce, Some places try to cover bad wings with better sauce in the hopes of making something passable. The other reason is a matter of tidiness. I hate sauce on my fingers. So having the sauce on the side allows me to control the application and minimize the number of trees killed for napkins. It's my extent of my conservation efforts. These naked wings are good. Right sized and I assume brined for some basic flavor. If you don't like any of the flavorings these naked will certainly do. I chose the sweet chili sauce and it was mite-t-fine. It wasn't the best sweet chili I've ever had but was a close second for sure. A little more garlic in the sauce would have served them well. I also went with the seasoned fries and these were tasty as well. After one visit I would have to say the Wing Snob certainly has the blocking and tackling of the wing business. I don't know if business will bring me back around to here, but if it does, I'll be stoppin' at the Snob. I mean now that I know how to get there. read more

I placed an online order 9/13. I paid about 90$+ for my order. Upon arrival I showed my email on my cell phone to the cashier and told her the name for my order. I ran in the store to pick up my order with no purse. As the cashier was reviewing my order she told me that she needed to see my ID as she pointed to a piece of paper taped to the counter that read "orders over 30$ ID must be shown" , which inconveniences a customer once they have entered the store, no signage on the door prior to entry or no verbiage states presenting ID, when placing the order online. If I spent this much money on wings along with showing you my email, with MY phone in my hand that indicates this is my order , why would you continuously insist to show ID. She told me she was going to check with someone if it would be ok to give me my order without being properly notified that I need ID to receive My order that I paid for and showed my email , order paid on MY PHone in MY HAND. The silly justification of "fraud" when someone will pay for an order and say they didn't make it should not impact a PAYING CUSTOMER as myself. I don't appreciate having to leave back out the store , when I was already in the store. And if you are enforcing rules , it is considerate to include these instructions as they are PAYING for their food. All of this and my food had the audacity to be bland and not appetizing at all. The sauce was on the box and not the wings. Disgusting food. Now sometimes service isn't all that great and I will consider going back , but bad service and barely cooked nasty wings, I won't return. I just finished eating my first wings from Wing Snob. My son ordered it last week and said I needed to try the Hot AF. The Hot AF are some of the hottest wings I have ate and they were good. I gave them 3 stars because out of the 16 wings we ordered, they were mostly the tip instead of the drumette. The tip wings are least meatiest and smallest. We finished eating the wings just 30 minutes after I ordered it and the wings were not temperature hot. Overall, I was disappointed with this new chain. I would have expected meatier wings for the price and if that is your signature food. To quote the Geico commercials, they were just ok. The food tasted average. The flavors for the chicken were just not that strong it was like they just sprinkled a little bit of each flavor on the wings. I didn't want them drenched in sauce but I expected to taste the flavors a little bit more. This is a great place to change up from the ordinary. They have a great selection of flavors for wings, fries and other sides. The chicken was extremely tender and juicy.
