Her front desk staff are very warm and helpful and her assistants are most friendly and patient. Dr. He evaluated my condition and assured me that the pain would be managed in a short time frame. Not only is she knowledgeable and professional, she treats every patient with a positive energy. Being a mental health consultant, I know that that is very important in order for one to heal. All of the exercises that she recommended were effective and easy to do, both in the office and at home. Dr. He is very thorough, explaining the exercises and the reasons why they are helping. If you continue the exercises at home, you can relieve the pain and maintain good health in the future. I really appreciate their continued care!!

And it's a rare find for a physical therapy place, in Flushing, to have actual walls and not using curtains so they can squeeze in as many patients as possible. So if you like or love privacy, I haven't seen better in Flushing in over 20 years. I've gone to many offices throughout the years.... and I've stuck with this place for over a year now. They have consistent staff, no disappearing act (if and when something goes wrong). Its nice having a professional place to go to, and not worry about the FOB style, not licensed physical therapists.... in private practices all over this neighborhood and Asian community norm (sadly). And for anyone playing Pokémon Go still, great spot with lots of poke stops. Con: no acupuncture, air or fire cupping and tight space in the waiting area.

Last week was my first visit, I was asked to bring my insurance card, photo ID and any previous reports from imaging places. (Update: I've been to this place for 3 sessions now and tried two massage therapists.) I've called the same day and got an appointment on the spot, and walked in once and was told to just come before 4:30pm the latest. My first session was with Mr.Zhang, he is thorough and massages the whole body. And he speaks minimal amount of English to communicate with you, amongst other languages (7) which he bragged about...with no fluency, but my main complaint was that he never checked if I could bare the pressure he was applying, so I went in with back pain and left the place with pain everywhere. My whole body felt tender and I was gripping the massage table for dear life and almost cried cause acupressure massages usually hurts when you have pain already and it's even more painful when they dont check what you can handle and just go at it how they want and would just tell you ...pain its cause its working... :( The front desk said they only have two guys that speaks English okay and one of them is Andy; whom I've had two sessions with. Andy is a very nice and friendly guy, who checked what pressure I can handle every step of the way... and made friendly chitchat here and there. Will make another point to try the second English speaking physical therapist and see if I can handle a session with him. :) And also FYI, if the doctor dont put down on your chart you should get ultrasound treatment or acupuncture, the staff wont do it just cause you ask; You must speak with the doctor for her to add it.
