I live around the corner and always had hopes of having a nice experience here but this being the 4th or 5th time that my order takes 40-60 minutes is absurd. I even sat down and ordered a beer to wait comfortably. The restaurant was more than half empty on a Friday night and it literally took me 40 minutes to get an order nachos and mushrooms. Walking in you immediately smell a wet/dirty/stinky rag and mop smell coming from the floors and tables. It's pretty bad. I waiting for my order to go and once I got home I realized that the tortilla chips for the nachos were so stale, the wings were very soggy and cold like they had been sitting there for a while. Wings are good, a little too "soft" for my liking. They are consistently cooked well and have good flavor, I have found some luck asking for crispy wings. Service is good, order at the counter, friendly and welcoming. Soda options, better in-person than takeaway but all wings get "soggy" when boxed too long. Great for a quick pick. My favorite spot after work. Special are great through the week. There is a new manger Kenny very funny. They call him Cookie Monster he sounds like him. Fixed our problem right away. The staff very friendly and always check on us. The food was good had beef nachos and shrimp very yummy. Then ordered boneless and very moist. If zero stars were an option, that's what they'd get. We walked in today to have a late dinner after shooping in El Paso all day. When we walked in we noticed the restaurant wasn't too packed so we decided to dine in. We were told to seat ourselves and in the section we sat in, all the tables weren't clean and chairs were all over the place where others before needed some of our chairs at their table. The tables were all mostly unoccupied and in disarray. The waiter came to a table next to us to get their drink order. She even cleaned one of the other tables next to us with no attention to our dirty table or to even bother getting our drink order. We waited for about 10 minutes and still nothing as the girls were all bunched up in a section talking and another leaving for the day. A few moved over to our section and one took a drink of her drink but still no attention to our table. The male manager stood in between the bar and east end of the building just watching this all happen and sipping on his drink. We got up and left and will never be back! I took my business elsewhere! - Tried a decent number of items in the menu. - Recently had the buffalo chicken fries, boneless chicken strips and also regular chicken wings. - Out of the 10-11 flavors I've had so far, the best is Cajun, scorchin cilantro lime. - The bone in wings are very small like many wing places; slightly disappointed with that, however, the boneless strips are worth the price. - The other thing I have noticed is the flavor profile isn't consistent, especially with the cilantro lime flavor. 2 out of the the 3 times they've had very good flavor but the last time I couldn't appreciate any lime or cilantro in it. - The buffalo chicken fries are average, very oily and creamy with more ranch-like feeling. Huge fan of this lil place. Since it is the Express version some of the menu items aren't available and I was let down at first. I mean who doesn't wanna try their spin on tots that are called "sleaze balls"? While it does take awhile for your order to be filled there are TV's and even beers to tide you over. The buffalo shrimp were big and the buffalo sauce even bigger, it was almost to much for me. (I'd still get em again). The sweet Jalapeno, Bodacious Bacon and Hot Honey BBQ were some of the best wings I can remember cramming in my face. First visit I walked in and it smelled like a sour mop/rag. Food was decent. Second visit I could smell the sour mop through my mask. Food was still decent. I recommend mopping when you close so the smell dissipates before you open the next day. Or use new mop heads or different cleaner. I understand Wing Daddy's would like to make money with Dining Services but they are missing out on the customers who would like to take their orders home to eat. Food is always good, however environment and the staff could use some improvement. The last couple of times I've walked in to pick up an order, the restaurant has an unsettling smell all throughout it, almost like sweat and Parmesan. The first time I thought "well, all restaurants have their days" but I walked in about a month later and the smell was still around. That day when I went in to pick up my order, I walked right to the rack where they keep the pick up orders and waited for someone to confirm I could grab it, I was looking at the receipt to make sure it was my name on it and a girl with red hair creeped up behind me and said "hello?" in a condescending tone. I replied, with a smile, "I'm just here to grab my order" and she rolled her eyes, looked away and continued tapping on her little screen. I said "thanks a lot." And walked away. Another time I went in with my friends and our server talked to us like we were stupid, and kept avoiding us (to stand around and laugh with her coworkers) until we asked for the check. Ladies, customers that happen to be women aren't competing for your job, trust me! And that mean girl attitude isn't gonna get you anywhere. I've been here before and the food is always fresh but my last experience here was a turnoff. While my boyfriend and I were waiting for our food, he noticed the chef come out from the kitchen and go into the restroom still wearing his apron and gloves. This use to be our go to for wings , not any more. we went in last night and had the worst service. I asked to speak to the manager and the waitress went into the kitchen and talked with some one and when she returned that we he would be out there shortly. In the meantime, I went to the ladies restroom and was disgusted as it looked like fecal all over the wall and the floor was went and I almost slipped. Still no manager.
