Horrible office personnel! I tried to make an appointment and was treated so rudely I just hung up. I won't be seeing this doctor!

Dr. Rechter worked with my son as he was having pain in his shoulder from baseball. We had visited…read moreseveral other surgeons who would take an X-ray and see nothing wrong, then send us on our way. After ordering an MRI, it was discovered that he had a torn Labrum. We were scheduled for surgery as soon as possible, hoping he would get some playing time in his Jr year. Although that wasn't to be, Dr. Rechter was with us every step of the way. He performed the surgery beautifully and got him ready to return to the ballfield for summer ball and Varsity in his senior year. I would highly recommend him and the staff as your first choice.

If you have a complex meniscus tear that shows up on your MRI get a SECOND opinion from someone…read moreelse. After my surgery my knee was and is worse. I was told before surgery you didn't see ANY arthritis so surgery would be a good thing- After surgery on my second visit when I nearby jumped off the table from the pain of you moving my knee you replied well you had arthritis so that's probably from the pain. When i went to physical therapy after the physical therapist could not reach this Dr and messages left at front desk were not return. During my surgery you should have not done a thing if my knee was too complicated for you. I could have gone to someone with more knowledge on complex meniscus tears. Your first choice to have the surgery was Methodist (really) You have to see people as human beings - people in severe pain who reach out for help with solutions not to make things worse.

This is a no go site - I was having problems with my hands - Showed up on time -…read more The assistant took x-rays and then I waited for the Doctor - Exam took all of 90 seconds - "You have carpal tunnel, you need surgery" - I didn't get to ask questions - Doc left as abruptly as she came in - This "healthcare" cost me $305.00. I left, disillusioned with little confidence that this was the place that could actually help. Ultimately, I found an AMAZING acupuncturist - Dr. Sharon Weng at The Oriental Art of Healing - Instant relief after just one session, 4 sessions later, no carpal tunnel -- At a fraction of the cost, with legit healing and positive results - I found a real healer - I will never go back to West Houston Orthopedic.

X-rays were completed in house and a few minutes after I returned to my room. I work for a radiologist and I know for a fact they do not interpret the X-rays that quick PA was friendly and informative. Overall this was a great experience.

Experience started out really good - liked surgeon, Dr. Raheed Ali but things have turned very bad…read more My husband had total knee replacement on Friday at Houston Methodist - The Woodlands. Saturday the nerve block was leaking so we went to the ER to have it checked. They called Dr. Ali and was told to remove it. That was it - remove the pain management that was in place for 4 to 6 days and not replacement with other pain management. He had been given prescritions for Tramadol and Oxycodene and told to take those. Naturally he was in a lot of pain and was unable to do exercises, walk - all the things he was instructed to do. Monday about 8 am I called and sent a My Chart message to Dr. Ali asking if he could get home PT until he was able to walk or what could be done to help him. He was scheduled to start PT on Monday, but he could not put any weight on his leg, couldn't walk and definitely couldn't get in and out of a vehicle to go to PT. At about 4:45 pm I called Dr. Ali's office again since we hadn't gotten a response. Was told that they take 48 hrs. to respond. Are you kidding me? You have a patient post surgery in severe pain and you'll get back to us in 48 hrs? Ridiculous. When Dr. Ali told the ER Dept. to remove the nerve block after just over 24 hours he should have given my husband some alternative pain management. The nurse should have questioned that they were removing it and not given an alternative. There's an epidemic in this country of drug addiction and the doctors are creating the problem by prescribing narcotics as the only pain management. The lack of concern by surgeons and hospitals is frightening. The medical field is not what it use to be.

Everyone from the X-ray tech to Jeremy (the PA) including Dr. Patel provided exceptional care. Extremely informative, professional, attentive and genuine. I wasn't rushed or made to feel my concerns weren't valid. This was my 2nd time in this office and the office experience exceeded my expectations. This was confirmed by the waiting room guests. Agreed Dr. Patel has the best bed side manner. I would highly recommend this office to anyone seeking medical attention. All the best to this office.
