I had 2 nerve blocks in my lumbar in 2024 with Dr. Skaribas, that went well. A few months ago, both my spouse and I both received a letter from Expert Pain as a notice that Expert Pain was withdrawing (as in terminating us) as our treating physician, without any explanation. We have no idea why? I called and wrote emails trying to get an explanation without any response. I find this highly irregular! We cannot imagine a justifiable reason for their doing this, but that is OK, I found another pain management doctor and office staff, whom I like much better. read more

(No title) I have been going to Expert pain for over 3 years and none of the experiences that I have had with Expert Pain meet my expectations. One of the most frustrating aspects was that they never answer their phone and almost never return phone calls or online messages. When I tried to cancel an appointment, I could not get ahold of anyone despite repeated attempts. Next thing I know, I get a bill for $50.00 which I have complained about several times since April 2024. Additionally, they don't call your pharmacy back either, which makes managing prescriptions much harder. They literally told me they don't call your pharmacist back and it would be better for you to call them. Sure, if they ever answer the phone. Recently they have had a high employee turnover and every time I see them, I'm starting over. When I confronted the new doctor (Dr Long) about a mistake in a prescription refill, he said that they make mistakes sometimes. I told him that was unacceptable, and I hold specialist at a higher degree of professionalism. Then the next thing I know, they are terminating my relationship with them. First, they tell me it was because I refused to do their Electrode Implant and then they said it was because I was rude. They cannot take criticism or apologize for their mistakes. Answer the phone, call people back, remove late fees that I am not responsible for, and say you're sorry. It's pretty easy, but instead, they try and gaslight you. Read all of his 1 star reviews because that is who these people really are and their real reviews. And look at their responses to the 1 star reviews. Unbelievable. That's who they really are. Lastly, I am going to have pain the rest of my life and I will always need a pain management specialist, this is not the company for long term care and they don't give 2 cares about you or your pain. read more

I would not usually waste my time leaving a review, but I made an exception for this situation. I had been a patient with this office for a few years until my care was unreasonably discontinued! All of this stemmed from an appointment I canceled and Amber's problem with doing paperwork! "Amber," the PA is very unprofessional (in MY OPINION)!!!!! Long story short: she sat before me and said sternly, "We are very upset with you!" I asked her to reconsider her professionalism, and if she couldn't talk to me respectfully, I would not continue talking. Fast forward to a text I received from Amy relaying Dr. Skaribas's decision to end care! Really !!!! His employee is inconveniencing me with an obvious attitude problem. Amber must feel very accomplished right now! Bravo, Amber; you canceled a patient that depends on Dr. Skaribas's care ( not yours). You showed me by single-handedly throwing money out the window!!! She was rude and unprofessional to a long-time client that brought income to the business that contributed to her paycheck. The doctor did not contact me personally.
