As a veteran grower and smoker I can say if you really care about good weed this place is not for you. Go get something that smells cooler then the package looks that it comes in, would be my advice. This is a great place for beginner smokers or people juts dipping their toes in. Very mellow, stale, weak smoke. Nothing too pungent or stoney.

I did not get confirmation that my order was ready until later on Sunday. So, today, Monday (one day later) I went there to pick up my order and they had dropped it from their system because evidentally I only have 36 hours to p/u an order or it gets dropped. By my calculations, since it wasn't ready till Sunday and I picked it up on Monday, I was within only 24 hours post email notification to pick up my order. NOBODY at that store was the least bit apologetic. I told them I still needed my order. A female let me in the 'sales' area. She said absolutely NOTHING. I expressed that I did not understand why this order was dropped. Again, she said nothing. After I paid she basically walked away. I asked her if she thought an apology was in order and she said "No, I'm not going to apologize." REALLY? She is a young person with a huge attitude, dressed inappropriately for the workplace, and total lack of professionalism. I will NEVER go to that location again. I suggest to EVERYBODY that you choose another business to give your money to. Don't use Lume!!!

I would say, "young Rohan, in exactly 40 years, I'll be returning to Ann Arbor to see a football game. Yes, I will one day graduate. And, I will go to this legal ganja dispensary and buy a gift for someone here. Legally." I imagine my younger self will say "Old Rohan, I'm worried that we got senile early." Anyway, it did happen, and this is a very nice place, it's the only place in all of Michigan where people are wearing masks and keeping a safe distance. I ordered ahead of time which made the transaction quick, though there really wouldn't have been a wait anyway. Open late, easy parking. Nice packaging. The usual prices. You know, I should also tell my younger self that in 1996 Northwestern would be the Big Ten champions and go to the Rose Bowl, that in 2016 Donald Trump would be elected President, and to invest in Monster Beverage Corp in 2002 to see if the Butterfly Effect is real.

And the pricing is good too for the quality of the product you get. I've also worked years in the retail industry so I know how customer service works. 10/10 every single time. Most places that make their own products aren't good at all, but Apothecare makes the best weed even compared to premium companies & brands. I've been to so many different dispensaries & this spot is my all time favorite. I loved it so much that when my friends from home came to visit I suggested they visit to see how great it was... But I was honestly kind of upset this past time and embarrassed by my recommendation with the service I got from Katie M. My girlfriend and I brought in our best friend for the first time and we were buying in bulk. My girlfriend went to buy some carts after picking out some wax from the store's brand. When I told my girlfriend that I didn't want to purchase Herbana brand Levitate for their carts because I have had them BREAK IN MY PENCIL CASE, Katie seemed to have an attitude and said "So you don't want to buy our brand?" and then when my girlfriend responded we had issues with them shattering she sarcastically responds "Well they are glass so if you drop them that happens"... Buy 10 grams of wax and half an oz and get treated poorly like we are incompetent for not liking their brand. Sorry we aren't interested in you upselling something that's not worth my money. Honestly when you are representing products like that, the ability to receive feedback from customers without being entirely condescending is appreciated. Left me really displeased with my visit. Thankfully I'll be leaving for the summer and can take a break from this place. Everyone else I have interacted with there has been very positive and fun to interact with. But my friend left upset by the experience and I regretted convincing us to stop. This experience alone is why I am giving it 3 stars instead of 5.
